This is the advice from the awesome Kittenmaster!

We’re all really grateful for all that you do to keep our fun and fluffy place, well fun and fluffy! KJ et al 🙂

Yes, so many thanks to the Kittenmaster for letting me know this information. I cleared my browser cache and cookies, and lo and behold I could log in!!

I love this place and the people in it and was feeling lost. With being on the verge of kitten season, I was starting to panic! 😉

Before clearing my cache I tried logging in. I logged in fine. Of course I have my name saved. So far so good.

What does one actually lose while clearing a cache? I’m working on a major research project (the footnotes for a 500-some-page book) and have several sites marked.

Lagatta – Bookmarks are safe when you clear your cache. Depending on your browser you could also clear your browsing history. Technically cache refers to things stored recently to temporary memory. Problems occur when the cache is not so temporary.

It’s mainly an issue with the cookies. If you know how to clear them from just the site (you can do a google search for “clear cookies from site in [put your browser in here]”) then you can do that too. Will get the same result.

    Thank you KM! >^.^<

Easy peasy: Hit tools, internet option tab – delete – choose wisely don’t get rid of all, uncheck needed – Keep cookies checked!
