Wow, what a good job you are doing! YES, to everything Jcat said. The poop does turn darker after it’s been in the box for a while but toothpaste consistency is very good. Thanks for stopping by to update us!!

OK welp, here’s another question! ๐Ÿ™‚ They are old enough to eat kitten food, and I would like to start weaning them off the bottle formula. My question is how should I start the weaning process? Do I just set the food in front of them, let them eat when they want? (Moistened, of course!)
    Thanks!

Hi KJ here is a link as purry FYI:
    http://kitten-rescue.com/weaning.html

    taken from link:
Dip your finger into the formula and get the kitten to lick it off your finger. Do this a few times, each time lowering your finger until it’s at the level of the formula. The idea is to teach him to lap the formula from the bowl. Don’t be discouraged if he doesn’t catch on the first time. It often takes a few times for the kitten to learn to eat from a bowl.

Good luck – if hungry kit should get idea! ๐Ÿ˜€

KayJay, I would feed them wet food mixed with a little formula, put it on a plate in front of them and see if they take to it. Put some on your finger and put it on the roof of their mouth. They will figure it out eventually. They will make a mess at first by standing in it and generally getting stinky with it, but it’s how they learn. In the links above I believe it instructs how to go about introducing kittens to food and eventually weaning them.
