Wow, Joan and I said good morning in the lounge, and we must have both run our for errands, LOL! I know I had a whole slew of things to accomplish this morning! ….. So we’ll open the Cafe late this morning, and to make it easy, the kitties have asked all kinds of food trucks to park out in the yard to serve us – there’s Mexican, Chineese, Greek, Burgers, BBQ, Hot dogs and Seafood – fresh fried grouper bites! They’re setting up umbrellas and pools to splash in, and even have a tiki hut bar open! …… of course the TDK weather is always virturally purrfect, so put on your suit and sunglasses and enjoy the day!

Hi there, AV! Been doing my Saturday stuff, but a splash on the pool and a swipe from the fountain sounds like a good excuse for a break.
Boiled half dozen eggs, will color them later, and some potatoes to mash.

Hey Joan & AV hope your Easter weekend is a good one… I bought Mr B a chocolate bunny and a creme egg Easter egg 🙂 I don’t do the whole chocolate thing so Easter has always been a non event for me..

    Evening all,
I have it on relatively good authority that for Sunday a sumptuous buffet, organized by Buffet Cat, who looks to be an expert on the subject, will be on offer. Hostess Bunny Kitty (not that kind of bunny LOL) is confurring on the details even now.

    Hey KM,
Sounds like you’re having a purrfect vaca! Googled Calico Cat Café – so many kits – and so little time to give them all the attention they deserve. So hoping the cat café that’s in the works for my city this summer comes to fruition!

Awww I wish I had bunny ears for Comet – I keep forgetting that I have a cat who doesn’t mind stuff on his head!
Just colored 6 eggs. I’m the only one who eats them, but I like playing with food coloring, plus I’m set for lunch for the week!

Good morning all and Happy Easter. It’s Easter Sunday here today and we’re all just lazing around, mainly due to the loud party the neighbours had all night and didn’t finish until almost 8am this morning. 🙁
I’m headed to the seafood truck the kitties have organised and then will sit by the pool and maybe even fall asleep there for a while. Nudge me awake if you join me out there.

Hi MS – my guess is you are more awake than your neighbors.
So 35 years ago I was an exchange student as part of the school band that went to England for the Easter holidays. My host family was considered well off; my room had glass doors to a deck that overlooked an enormous back yard lines with super-tall hedges. The father was a pharmacist, mom stayed home, and they had 2 kids, Helen & Howard.
Went to someone’s place for Easter dinner; their place was just as amazing. I don’t remember the meal, other than it was delicious!

Hi Joan, wonderful memories. Their properties sound lovely and upper middle class or more from what I have read anyway.
We have just had a family afternoon tea with all of the family that are gathered up here for Easter. Wow, did we all bring heaps of yummy food, feijoa cupcakes, blueberry muffins, hot cross buns, pikelets with lemon honey, melting moments and something like a rocky road with dry fruits in it. We may not be needing dinner this evening after all that.
Still getting rain here and there was the possibility of more thunder storms but so far it’s all quiet.
HRH is asleep on a bed, best place for a cat on a day like this.

Evening or rather really early Easter morning here, watched a bit of the Pope giving his blessings and such on one tv and who knows what on the one above my head.

Tired as can be tonight, picked up Lynn from the Hospital ER Friday morning, she had went by ambulance @ 0200 for severe stomach pains….turns out it was a kidney stone (thank goodness it passed yesterday morning ~ Saturday morn here) and it was one of the most painful things she had ever had. I remember my Mum having them and being so young I remember her being in pain but not how much, besides two co-workers having them I have no real clue on the pain and it sounds like I don’t want to know now.

It is Easter morning here, thought it would be a relatively quiet night here but oh no that wouldn’t be right I guess…all the nutty ones are out, my reasoning is that they are looking for Easter Eggs before the little kids get them all, waiting to see if they see a miracle or just out and about being drunk.

And I am trying to hold my tongue because Lazy B comes in to get paid Sunday premium $$$ because it surely isn’t to work….:(

My Guardian Angel is once again holding her head with both hands trying to keep me from making remarks…

Hi, Deb, poor Lynn, kidney stones are said to be the closest thing men will ever come to knowing the pain of childbirth. They are incredibly painful, my mum had one once and sat up all night refusing to let my dad call an ambulance or take her to the hospital, she went to her GP the next morning and Sally (her GP said) well, I’m surprised you didn’t call an ambulance, most people do end up in the emergency room simply because the pain is so bad. Gosh, you would think the ‘q’ word would be appropriate on an Easter Sunday, wouldn’t you, but I guess it never is when you think it is.

Deb, I don’t know whether to join your GA and urge you not to make remarks or to say, to hell with it, shout it from the rooftops. It doesn’t seem like either option will do any good 🙁 He has a brass neck on him is all I can say.

… Mr. AV and Dau just left to go play golf this morning, and then we’re gathering at my Sis’s house for a family Easter dinner, it’s a lovely sunney and warm day here (82) ……

Happy Easter to both of you this morning 🙂

Thanks AV, I know she feels better than she did Thursday/Friday, she said it was so very painful.

Going to brunch with Lynn and her son this morning after I get off, even with all his mental issues he loves the holidays and traditions like a small child 🙂

I am glad Lynn is feeling better and the 3 of you can enjoy brunch later. Hubby had kidney stones years ago, thankfully has not had a recurrence in many years. His mom has them too.
AV, enjoy the day! It is a beautiful day in The Big Apple; son will no doubt have a great day as well!
