Spring is a time of renewal and of new beginnings: new animals (and some new people) are born, plants peek out of the Earth, sweaters and heavy boots are stored away in favor of lighter, airier outfits, people get new jobs – oh, boy, I’m getting ahead of myself. Mollycat71, known in r/l as Amy the Miracle Kid, had another miracle happen to her; although she was released from a job she worked at for years, she recently got a new job. Thanks to prayers in the general direction of up from the TDK family, she and others in the family are seeing brighter days ahead.
It’s her turn to run the roller rink tonight, although I get to set it up for her. I invite her and her furbabies to enjoy themselves, and I just fixed the frozen margarita machine. Piglet has burgers and brats in addition to red velvet heart-shaped cupcakes at the snack bar. Pumpkin will play anything Betty, Wilma, and Frankie want on the sound system.
