    Kitten makes wierd noises when she breaths out. She sounds congested but shes seems ok. She play and eats just fine. We took to the when we got her. Said she had a bacterial infection. Put her on antibiotics. She got better but now it sounds worse.

    I would take her back to the vet and have them take a look at her and if needed, prescribe a different antibiotic and also test her for feline herpes. If she tests positive for that, it’s not the end of the world–all my cats have it. It just means that as she gets older and her immune system is more developed, she probably won’t have any symptoms like she is showing now, but only in times of stress. (Like a move, introducing a new cat, etc. or may show no signs at all)

    It’s always good to have these symptoms looked at because even though URI’s are common in cats, if they can be treated successfully, then she will feel much better and so will you.
