Memories like that are wonderful aren’t they. Thankfully my grandparents house is still in the family and we held a family reunion there earlier this year. We sat under the jacaranda tree and all talked about our memories of the house & farm and there was plenty of laughter and many misty eyes. I can’t remember how old the house is but it must be around a century old by now.

I’m off to search the fridge & cupboards now to see what I will make for dinner. Being Sunday I just make a light meal. A girls got to have a weekend sometime.

Yes, they are treasures!…… my grandmother was a wonderful gardener (sp?)…. she grew the most beautiful roses!…….

….. Jacranda trees are SO beautiful, and they grow wonderfully here!….. we have many in our neighborhood….. I love the purple flowers when they’re in full bloom!

…. and speaking gardening…. I want to grow some butter beans…. have you ever grown those, and do you think they would do well here in our hot climate?…. my family LOVES them, and we always have to make them for family meals…………. with rice of course, and our ‘Southern’ tomatoe gravy 🙂

Evening BB!…. you’re up late, like me 🙂

…… I’ve never grown them, but that’s something I would really use! …..

….. my house is 103 (104 in Jan.) years old…….. we live in the historic district of Tampa’s Hyde Park…….. it was truly a loving restoration when Mr. AV and I did it!

Just watched a 1974movie called ‘”Harry and Tonto ” – Art Carney travels the country with his cat, an orangie named Tonto. Good flick! (Of course it was good – it starred a Cat!)

    Nighty -night all.

You know, a few years ago, a TDKer mentioned Harry and Tonto. I ordered the movie on Amazon, and am afraid to admit I never did actually watch it. One of these days…….

Glad I spotted it in the tv review or I would have missed it.

I’m heading over to the TDK Sunday brunch care for a virtual mimosa.
