The quintessential vampire, Count Dracula has inspired many films and stories the world over, not to mention the virtual immortality of the character. This icon of horror deserves his day, so put on your fangs, and let’s sink out teeth right into this, shall we? Bahahaha

Dracula Untold is a good movie. The actor is easy on the eyes, too.
In Nosferatu, Count Orlok is burned up by the sunlight. However, in Bram Stoker’s version, sunlight was harmless to vampires, it just weakened them slightly.

    Have a happy~

Happy Caturday PG! I too liked Dracula Untold! I also like books on the Dracula story, read many versions. So far today has been a steady drizzle since I got up, strong rains coming in this afternoon. Supposed to get up to 8″ possible. That could flood some streets around here. Not mine or sons thankfully. Our older neighborhoods were built higher, as were our homes. Guess thats while they’re still standing 100+ years later!

I did some minor chores today, baked cookies, and am in the process of changing my table decor from Spring to Summer. L8R !!

Dracula is one of my favorite books, and Bella Lugosi’s Dracula is one of the only horror movies I like.
Huey and Dewey are good at showing their fangs as they look up at me. So cute!
Been watching the weather in your ‘hood, AV. Im sure Caddy will be happy indoors!
Went to my hometown cemetery yesterday to take some Memorial Day photos and do some walking. Lost my glasses but found them after a semi-frantic 15 minute search. I had dropped them while trying to read a headstone from the 1700’s. It’s a beautiful old cemetery, and the local Boy Scouts have put American flags on veterans’ markers, it looks really nice.
Must get outside and do some planting!

Good morning all, chilly and windy here but dry so far.
HRH had such cute little fangs that peeked out from under her top lip. They were like a subtle visual warning that she wasn’t always going to be sweetness, heed the warning. 🙂
Wow AV, that is a dump of rain coming your way, keep dry. I imagine you and Caddy will watch the rain from the safety of the screened porch. Hope the fishes don’t get flooded. Is A’tuin still staying with you?
JJ, it is cute when cats show their fangs, something lovely about ‘dangerous’ fangs in such sweet furry kits. Ahhhh, panic about the glasses, glad you found them.

I’ve a passion for vampire stuff (Twilight c**p excluded!) But Annie Rice’s L’Estat and Chelsea Quinn Yarbro’s Count Saint-Germain yes! I have “Dracula Untold” PVR’d, guess with these good recommendations I should watch it.
