    Happy Saturday one and all! Kittehs waking up slowly as it is cool here, in the low 50s! Windows opened to allow the fresh air inside. Tables set with a nice summer tablecloth and fresh flowers. The buffet is loaded with all sorts of sweets and pasteries. The coffee/tea bar is open and kittehs are ready to serve. Come enjoy a leisurely weekend breakfast with us!

    Hi, MC, how are you today? What have you got planned for the weekend? Something nice, I hope.

    I will take chocolate croissants and milky coffee please and a tiny tortie kitty to snuggle. I have spent the day grocery shopping (yuck), stripping wood in my living room and still have a load of proofreading to do but it’s been quite a good day…

    Jasper has just come in to sit on the keyboard as usual, lol… How does he always know when I am a captive audience in front of the computer?

    Good Morning MC and Evening jcat. It’s chilly and rainy here. It’s only about 60 degrees here. I like it 🙂

    jcat, you are such a industrial woman, I couldn’t strip wood if I tried. I do like to grocery shop though 🙂

    How are you both today?

    Okeydoke, CM you do my grocery shopping and I’ll strip your wood 😉 You wouldn’t have said that if you could watch me, CM, I have to do a little bit of work, then have a cuppa tea and a sit down, then maybe another little bit of work, then cuddle Jasper… I have developed lazy into a way of life 🙂

    I’m just fine, how are you and Wayne and the girls? Are you surviving all those birthday parties 🙂

    Yes, but you still do it jcat..I need to do so many things to this house, yet I have no clue how to even begin!

    I will gladly shop for you. I really do enjoy it.

    We are good here. All are still asleep. Abbie woke up for 15 minutes about an hour ago, so I gave her 3 ounces of a bottle and right back to sleep she went 🙂

    I tell you, July is the birthday month for us. I can’t believe how many we have had already.

    I have to think about Maddie’s birthday and what we are going to do for her. October is such an iffy month, we could have snow, rain or sun…you never know…

    MC, I saw that on another thread. That’s good, isn’t it? I bet the other guys from the firehouse will have dates too (if you’re worried about it, ask him!)

    I’ll tell you, it sounds like he is seriously interested 🙂

    Well they have had tickets for a while so they are trying to find one for me. No, they are not taking “dates” the two guys are both going thru divorces so they are on a “anti woman” jag right now. We met on a medical/emergency group on yahoo. Crazy huh?

    Ooh, FF wants to take you on a date with two anti-women men? Is he nuts? I see your problem…

    I think the internet is a great place to meet people, I have met some VERY nice people on one particular site, lol…

    Perhaps FF would much rather be with you than with his firehouse mates at the festival… 🙂

    Jas is sitting on the printer, looking reproachfully at me. He threw up earlier tonight (ick, cat barf again) so perhaps he thinks I should get up and feed him RIGHT NOW…

    Libby has been turning up her nose at her beloved biscuits, I don’t know if it’s because the new bag is fish and rice instead of chicken (I alternate them) or whether she has some other complaint. She runs into the house for a pit stop, sniffs at the saucer, then she looks at me reproachfully too…

    Oops, Jasper is chewing the dial-up line. If I disappear, you’ll know why…

    Jas sounds like Fred…so what if I got sick, feed me again…and again…he is also my alarm clock. God forbid, if I sleep in a bit..he might starve and go under 20 pounds.

    I bet Mr. WWM does great! I give him so much credit for doing that, especially in that Texas heat. Him and WWM are really great people

    I’d forgotten that was today, MC, gosh, that is SUCH a long way, I would love to be as fit as he and WWM must be but I hope he takes it carefully in the heat. I would say he’d be better coming to NZ to cycle but the ‘blizzards’ down south and gale force winds might hinder his progress too…

    Tee hee, CM, Jasper is even lazier than I am, usually he sleeps in longer than I do, lol, it is the only time he is not lobbying for food…

    Fred, let your mama sleep in, she works so hard all day!

    me too MC..I would love to meet them!

    It is very cool..rainy too. We are supposed to get up to 72 today once it stops raining. it’s about 60 here.

    Lucky jcat..I would give anything for Fred to sleep in. He usually starts anywhere from 4:30 till I get up. Some days he doesn’t start till 6 but there are days I see it’s not even light out yet and I shoo him off the bed. He just catterwalls by my ear..

    4.30am! CM, that’s as bad as GD’s Bobby! They are persistent little possums when they want something, aren’t they?

    I do have to keep getting up during the night though, to let him and Libby come in and out… a cat flap is on the agenda…
