Peeking in, see that all is quiet in TDK land. I am here at ‘that place’ once again, so another day another nickel.

Today is supposed to be another scorcher of a day, believe it is to be around 111 degrees with tomorrow (Sunday) expected to be 114-115 degrees, ugh way too hot for me.

Hope your AC is fixed now, Deb! Have a good day at work (as good as possible).

Very cute pics, PG….love found Nemo….lol! I’m not a seafood fan, including seaweed. Wish I was since it’s got lots of good nutrition.

Joan, meant to tell you yesterday how great it is that you are doing that planking challenge. Sounds like something I’d like. My MIL has a birthday tradition of doing a timed plank at her gym on her birthday. She tries to increase her time each year!

Morning all! ….. oh, I LOVE sushi! ….. I could live on it! …. my whole family does, in fact we raised our kids on it, and they are experts on it! .. Son has eaten it all over the world … literally! LOL …. it’s a whole new ballgame in Asia ….. Thailand, Vietnam, Bali …..

I see the western heat wave, I hope everyone in that area stays safe and hydrated! Deb, I pray your AC is fixed!! …. looks like Mr. AV and handy Scotty will have our new system up and running soon, again, I’m not without, just waiting for new/efficient vs old/costly ….. a good change!

Tonite, I’m hosting Bro, SIL and our other Bible study friends for dinner, so today will be a clean/cooking fest for me …. actually something I enjoy alot! …. hope everyone’s Caterday is relaxing and enjoyable!

Good morning – I was skeptical for a long time, but have found sushi to be pretty tasty!
That is some dangerous heat, Deb. Hope you are able to stay comfortable.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, ECB – it’s getting tough!
Enjoy spiffing up your house, AV, and have a great evening!

Hi Deb-that is disgusting hot and I sure hope you have A/C. You ever thought of being a snowbird and live in Arizona during the winter months? 😉

A timed planking? That sounds interesting.

If I lived on the coast I would probably eat more fish. But I’m still wary living here. That’s my story…

When are they going to install your new A/C? It sounds like a fun time AV. Enjoy your day.

    Hi Joan

Hot or Iced it’s always good –

    Good morning all.
I love sushi and I am spoiled as there are 3 very good sushi stores within 5 minutes of me. 😀

Deb, hope the shift went well with no dramas and the CC’s at a minimum. Wow those temperatures are crazy, I can’t even begin to imagine them. We have a sunny but very windy day and may get to 17C/62F if we are lucky. Mr MS was going fishing today but the wind is too strong. 🙁
    PG live the planking pic.
I forgot to mention that the two Monarch butterflies that hatched out at the beginning of the week were both males, they will most likely survive through the winter to help start off the next generation come Spring. I have 5 chrysalis inside and more to come inside from the milkweed swanplant.

MS, l have a red bush that attracts Monarchs, but they don’t put their chrysalis there, I think its too close to busy/activity. … but I love watching them flit among the branches. ..

Dinner with family was nice, they loved the refreshingly lite pineapple coconut custard pie 🙂

Winding down now from a busy day, see everyone on the flip. ….

AV, is the bush a milkweed plant. That seems to be what the Monarch’s like no matter which hemisphere you live in.
    Glad the dinner went well.
Winding down at the end of the weekend here. Mr MS and I went for a soak at a thermal hot pool and then back home to a lovely warm fire and bacon and egg pie and an apple crumble are in the oven.
HRH Shadz is inside and fed and bathing in her basket by the fire.
