Poor Max 🙁 I’m glad the vet was able to help him.

Another very good reason to have indoor-only babies! There are some incredibly stupid and cruel people out in the world that I definitely DON’T want my precious babies to encounter (shivers)

I’m starting to think that “indoor only” would be the best solution for a lot of the @#$%^&* people in this world.

First I must say that if there is an outdoor range in the area the cat could have been hit by accident and the shooter might not even have known they did it. Having lost a few arrows to spectacular misses myself. Second the article and it’s title appear to be incorrect, they state this was a 12 inch “arrow” from a crossbow – which means it was not an arrow, it was a bolt. This also means it could travel farther and with greater force than from most bows. Not defending anyone who would do this deliberately or if accidently not try and help/report it if they could, just offering some possibilities that it might not have been malicious intent.
