Do your cats sometimes sleep on things their same color? Do you wonder if they are camouflaging themselves? I do. This morning I noticed ALL FOUR of them were resting on their own color so I grabbed the camera…

(Lucy’s ear isn’t dirty…she gets little drops of her brown stomatitis syrup stuck to her at times.)
Leo had left the beige carpet before I could get his camo photo. But here is a cute one of him bird watching with his dad…

I was thinking and realized that those camo spots really belong to each respective cat. Nobody else has ever so much as looked at Lucy’s cat bed. Eko is the only one who sleeps in that black chair. And I rarely see anyone but Emily in the gray chair. And Leo does spend more time than anyone else in the beige window perch. Hmmmm….interesting.
Lucy gets her stomatitis syrup every single morning. I actually enjoy the routine a little because I get to snuggle Lucy close and kiss her little head. (She likes gentle petting but not scooping up and snuggling so I enjoy it when I can.) So I had my husband capture the routine on camera…

We should be able to tell in the next month or so whether the stomatitis meds are helping. (We need the effects of a Jan. 3 steroid shot to completely wear off.) If they control the condition she will use them every day indefinitely. Fingers crossed…
