    Prosecutor Michael Hemker said typically those prosecuted for animal cruelty don’t get jail time, so today’s sentencing is a clear indication that Shasta County doesn’t take these matters lightly.

    Good to hear.

    Now, just have to have more jail time for the other culprits for this type of crime! (Another horror story from brewtown just surfaced. Didn’t post it but dog had to be put down. Hopefully they find the scums that did it & throw them in the slammer too!)

    Thanks for the reminder Emma.

    (Now I can feel that the Wolf too is caring for special pet as doberman Big Boy who is now safe and happy at the Bridge as he waits for his special 11 year old owner Josephine when heaven permits.)
