Yeah GD, what did you find car-wise?

Yes I do, HM – cost me $33.00 for the cab ride this morning (still better than tthe $40.00 the other day!)

CM, I’d really like a Jeep – the one I want to look at is a 2000 Cherokee Sport. ‘ve gotten to the point where I just want something to take me back and forth for a while and if end up having trouble with it, I can trade it in later. If I don’t have something at the end of this week, I’ve got to quit something – office job, gym job, dog-sitting jobs, freelance computer work, book-selling work….. something!

Not sure of your budget but Hyundi is doing 3,000 cash back on their Sonata and it gets great gas mileage. I am helping a friend with car shopping and that is something I came across.

Some cab drivers are so cheesy. I always tell them the quickest way to go.

I do, too, HM. The guy the other day went so slow, though, I figure that’s why it was so expensive.

KYKat, I’m looking for something used, between $4,000 and $4,500, that will run me around town for a few years.

Now I’m going to get the daily banana at the gas station. Be right back!

“Good afternoon, all. back from dropping the kids off at the rink.” *Walks over to the buffet and gets a cup of black coffee, a small plate of hash browns and two strips of bacon, grabs a comfy chair. Sips coffee slowly* Was the chat down for a while there, or was it just my ‘puter?

Okay, back for more coffee at the cafe, now that TDK is back up. Is there any coffee left?

I couldn’t get on this morning but Karenopa sent me a back door into the chat area. Yay! I was having major withdrawls.

I could use a large cup of mocha with whip cream and a toasted sesame bagel with peanut butter. I am very tired today and not feeling up to par. I would have liked to work from home today so that I could sleep in more but I don’t have a laptop at work (have to work on that one with the boss). My kitties would love for me to be at home. Since I got back from the trip they have been a little clingy (which I am loving).

My guys are clingy right now, too, Karin. Last night was the first night in a week I got to sleep at home (went to the TDK meet and stayed nights with teen boys) – the boys were so happy to have me there, I barely got any sleep at all. Went to sleep around ten and got up at 4:30 and the guys woke me up 4 or 5 times during the night. Of course when I got up they were fast asleep and none too happy with Mama turning on the light and roaming around!

Awwww, Karin and GD, they really really missed their mamas. Isn’t it nice to have those babies to come home to?

It sure is, HM! Bobsky even jumped on the computer desk last night which he never does and – purred!!!! 🙂

Yes it is, HM! I missed them and was a little worried about them as this was the first time ever that I have been away from them. Monday night, Mia sat in my lap and slept for the first time ever. That definitely means she missed me. She didn’t do it last night though. Sylvester has been extra purry and affectionate. I am just loving this so much. It is nice to be loved and shown the love.

Bobsky purred? Today purring tomorrow ‘Mama.’

Karin, how would we survive without our kitties?

*hugs to Bob, Milo, Mia, and Big Syl!!*

    Yay, “Mama”!!!

Milo-man was mad at me for leaving them for the weekend – heran and hid under a chair and wanted nothing to do with me. Suited Bobsky fine – more Bobby and Mama time!

CM – Mine still won’t do that…. still hissing and growling and swatting. Oh well.

Anncetera… if you’re around, I need advice on clipping Mili’s nails/claws. with Chloe, man-friend will pick her up and hold her and I get all done at once. uh… there is no picking up of Mili !! And she squiggles away when I grab one paw.

Fred and Cricket are so close. Fred will bathe Cricket and they play, chase each other, wrestle. They are the best of buds and Cricket was only in the bedroom overnight when we got her. Fred took to her right away she was just an itty bitty and he protected her and the rest is history. Fred is the BEST cat, so laid back and easy going.

Awwwwww – poor Mili! Other than the hissing, growling and swatting, how are the girls, 2P?
