Goodmorning Siobhan, Oh yes, a comfy chair sounds wonderful. I’ll have some coffee with Irish cream thank you even though it is 11.35pm and I should really be in bed.

Deb, Maddie is feeling better thanks for asking. She is on Augmentin since Saturday instead of Amoxicillin and boy did that make a big difference. She’s back to eating, drinking, and running around. She is sleeping a whole lot better too. Now once hubby gets better, my house will be normal again πŸ™‚ Then I need a vacation. lol

CM, I am still giggling about the little oops Maddie had in the bath, had the same thing happen 24 years ago but Daddy was in the bath too. I heard an anguished calling of my name and found Dad and tot up one end of the bath. My laughter wasn’t appreciated. I reminded daughter of it today when she rang me and she got all embaressed. Yes I’m still getting up at 4.30 and then going back to bed for a couple more hours sleep.

That would make me laugh too! I remember when I walked into the bathroom and my son (18 months old) was peeing, actually aiming for the top of the mirror just to see if he could hit it. Made his dad clean that up, told him it was a male thing and that girls didn’t do that type of thing, lol.

I bet girls would if we could though. In some ways I’m glad I had only girls.

We knew one day it would happen and yep it did. It was funny. I think me trying to get her out fast enough…she wanted to sit back down and play. I am just thankful I had her clean first and was just letting her play for a bit.

Hubby said last night I should have put her on the toilet when she started pooping and I told him, I didn’t even think about that, my first thought was “OH MAN” and “get her out”

To think we want another baby….holy cow.

Coffee, scones and a comfy chair will do fine, but if you could add a kit or two it would be purrfect. πŸ™‚

We are doing buffet style breakfast this morning, Fresh squeezed orange juice, grapefruit juice, limeade, cranberry juice, coffee (all flavors, roasts, and blends) with whatever condiments you wish to add to it, lattes, pancakes (take your choice of type), french toast (both stuffed and unstuffed), bacon, ham, sausage (patties, links and gravy), all kinds of omelets, hashbrowns or home fries, muffins, toast, bagels, last but not least fresh fruit of many kinds.

CM, I started potty training in summer so the girls could go around with ordinary knickers on and every 25 minutes they were sat on the potty. Eventually we had success and there was much clapping of hands, congratulations etc so they would remember it as a good thing to do. I set a timer to remind me when 25 mins were up. A bit time intensive but worth it.

cricketsmama, its like housetraining the kittens or a puppy (lol ok I like the analogy), take the baby to the bathroom after waking up, meals, playing lots, etc……or even when they start the ‘dance’….it worked with my two girls when I told them they were big girls and old enough to use the bathroom, that was a big thing for them and wearing pretty underwear worked too.

that sounds like something I could do MS…We had started sitting her on the potty with her potty seat and she was fine with it. We wanted her to get used to it, then for a few days she screamed when she sat on it, so we stopped. I didn’t want her to associate the potty with a bad thing. I want to start trying again. She will be 18 months old next week and it would be nice to be free of diapers.

It is now Thursday morning and time I woke hubby up. I love shaking him awake and saying ‘wake up dear, it’s time you went to sleep in bed’, just hope he doesn’t get grumpy. Goodnight Deb,CM,SOM and Siobhan.

most of the people I have talked to said 2 years is a good time to start, but I don’t know. I can never tell when Maddie has to go. If she would give me a sign it would help πŸ™‚

I worry about everything I don’t want her to be behind on anything but I don’t want her to feel pressured about anything either. Oh motherhood πŸ™‚
