Well, I certainly love his works and his style. I noticed he had moved from ‘happy little clouds’ to ‘happy little interrogation rooms’. LOL!

I loved Bob Ross, I used to watch his show all the time. I was sad when he died – what a talent he had. It was amazing to watch how everything would come together. Plus he LOVED yellow ocre (sp?). LOL

Instinct…I have a picture on the wall as I speak that a friend gave me. He painted it himself. He said he was still learning & was never really happy with. I think it is a beautiful depiction of the serenity that is felt when I sit & watch the sun shining down on the river as it continually rushes past. This friend told me he was inspired to paint & learned alot of his talent by watching Bob Ross.

Oh My God…when did Bob Ross die? What I wouldn’t give for the inner peace he constantly emmanated.

    Hey Sis,

How nice that you have a Bob Ross original. You should feel quite honored. Lucky Kitty!

Karen…I think it was 1995. Check link in Instinct’s post above. I’m sure I saw a dedication at the end of the video in his honor.

It’s not Bob Ross’s original. It was painted by a friend of mine who was inspired by his work. How’s Jeff these days? And has mama meezer come home yet?

It was. Bob Ross was a great painter. I think everyone in art admired him even as we groaned when he would say “Lets paint a happy little tree right over here, it will be our secret”

    🙂

Hey Susie…sorry it took me so long to get back…I can’t get high speed here and my dial-up takes so long to buffer everything I see, that by the time I get back…everyones gone. Oh My! We just watched the Bob Ross video…well done..funny. Jeff is doing fine but we haven’t heard from Mama Meezer for 1 week now. I cry for her every morning and every night. Bringing her little family into out lives has brought us such joy…and she was such a great little mom…to all of us, me, Jeff, Amos (coon hound) and Abby (Amos’ mommy). Jeff said he actually cried for the first time today because he had hoped his Mama Meezer would be home by now. This wasn’t his first Meezer.my first though. One of the kittens is a beautiful little male meezer and I see Jeff is anxious that he’ll leave him too.
