    Hi guys!
    I’m fostering a newborn kitten for the first time and his belly is making me nervous. He was intially constipated when I got him but he’s now excreting once a day. About a two inch long log. His belly still feels firm to the touch like when he was backed up. He doesn’t seem to be in any pain when I press on it and actually really likes having it massaged after he eats. Is this something I should be worried about?

    No, not worried, but just keep your eye on it. If he is eating and pooping and peeing, you really don’t need to worry. He probably has parasites and when you take him to the vet, they will prescribe a dewormer that should take care of it. And it’s fun to massage their tummies, especially when they enjoy it so much!
