JerseyJoanModeratorOk, I might be lying – can’t seem to find it now. Then again, I’m on my kindle, and things load weird. I thought there was a place in your account where you can see a list of everyone. Somehow I got there the other day but got tired and didn’t go thru he whole list.

ParticipantHi Joan, hope that your day’s been splendid.Not sure exactly what you mean, but on the right-hand side of the page when I scrolled all the way to the bottom I found a Members link. Clicked on it and got a listing of all (like 112 or so) members. Hope this helps.

Oh and a KOTSW is a drink: Kiss Of The Spider Woman. Can’t remember what’s in it; once we figure out how to get some back threads, we can find it. It’s tagged.

ParticipantLot more than I have gotten–I have one from Joan–thanks Joan. I tried to reply and it said Forbidden so I guess that means I can’t accept for whatever reason. Pretty sure we are all friends, that is show it has been all these years!

ParticipantKOTSW *shwooshes* thru the wormhole to 12P….. I’m as ‘blind’ as everyone on the ‘friend request’ thingy….. I thought we were all already friends….. but I’ll accept any that send them…. it just takes me a few clicks to get to where I can do so….. also not-so-tech-savvy here!
and just in case the old threads can’t be resurrected, the KOTSW recipe is as follows… it’s a killer martini:
4 oz good vodka (your choice, but not flavored)
a splash of good vermouth
a splash of olive juice
*shake* all in a martini shaker with ice and strain into a martini glass
then add….
4-10 drops of tabasco sauce (I like 9)
2 large martini olives on a skewer, I like either jalopena or blue cheese stuffed ones!and that is a KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMEN martini! ENJOY!!!

Virtual will have to suffice *takes nice long sip* there, better now. Should turn in, Dorry asleep already in a corner of the couch with his pawsies dangling over the edge, I am sooo tempted to give them a gentle squeeze, but then he’ll wake up and not be happy, which would be not good for me.

We were all friends before, so I really don’t understand the need for this either other than it is like FaceBook.

Participant12Paws, accepting someone’s friend request evidently links you together as each other’s friends. At least that’s what the sidebar on the chat site that lists recent activities implies: “Penny and Tigeranne are now friends,” or something like that.
I’d like to be able to get to my Catster page from here, too.
I had to have KM go into my account yesterday and conceal my username because it contained personally identifiable information.
Arcalian and SM, I think the point is to make the site like a kitten-oriented Facebook. I’m not on Facebook myself and never will be. It seemed to me lately, though, that there was a lot less activity on TDK than there used to be, and I attributed that to people’s migration to Facebook. Maybe this will encourage more TDKers to participate more on this site. If they’re on Facebook, it shouldn’t be as hard for them to figure out the new setup as for those of us who aren’t there.

If we aren’t listed as friends will we not see each others posts. TDK is a happy friendly site to all–those that have been here for a decade as well as those that have been here 10 minutes. Just wasn’t understanding the friend issue. I haven’t been able to figure out how to send a request–I’d send them to everyone! That is the most wonderful thing about TDK–all friends with a love of felines!
17 October, 2013 at 2:00 am #790313ParticipantHi Soxsmom (not sure what your acronym is), I click on the purrsons avatar if they’re online or posted in one of the forums, or I could have clicked on the Members page where everyone is listed and click on a specific avatar. Then I was taken to their page clicked on Friends and saw a prompt saying Add Friend which I clicked on. Then got msg something like “your friendship request has been sent.” Requests showed up in my e-mail with a link back to the TDK site and my page where I click on “Friendship Accepted.” Anyway I just sent you a request and hope that you’ll accept. 🙂 BTW there are like 116 members. Yes!
