{{{Susie}}} I don’t even know what to say. What a truly heartbreaking situation. I know your kits are not housecats and not used to people, but please try to talk to the no-kill shelters if you can, there have to be folks out there that would be willing to try to make friends with your crew. Could they maybe be released into a feral community? They have several here in Illinois where the cats live free but have caretakers to watch over and feed them.
Also re: funds, when Chaos needed help to get Harry his operation, she started a page where people could contribute. If you or someone here knows how to set that up, that might be a way to generate some funds that could go to a rescue operation to help relocate/care for your kids.
I will send up all the prayers I can that somehow things can work out.

I don’t understand about the insurance policy. It shouldn’t matter whether or not it is mentioned in his will as long as you are the designated beneficiary. That is what determines who collects the life insurance.

Who ever Chuck named as beneficiary on the life insurance gets the money, no need to have it in a will. Your name wasn’t the beneficiary I take it. You have wanted to be close to your sister for some time, maybe this is the time to make a good move. Glad people are trying to help you home the cats as you have given them such great care that their lives have been extended! I know you are in agony over what is happening, and I wish I could help take away the pain, but know you are loved by many here.

Susie, I’m so sorry to see this news. You have always made your kits your top priority. You are a kind woman. I hope you were able to sell Chuck’s tools to tide you over for the near future. I also hope you can make some arrangement with your caseworker to continue to receive your disability payments. Please keep posting when you can. Love, KW

Awe I am very very new here and I do not know your story but that is just heartbreaking. Is there an animal rescue that can help out? I am a foster mommy and sadly we deal with many many situations like this. I wish your heart and your kitties all the best of luck <3
