Dio
Please give a warm welcome to our newest Star Kit, Dio. He is 2 years old from Houston.
Dio was a feral and a bit of a runt; I started feeding him and he would hiss and growl but over time he was coming to me to get feed and would lay down and let me pet him. One day he was bleeding and hurt real bad so I took him to the vet got him cleaned up and tested and brought him inside with my other 4. He is now one happy house cat.

I just hope Dio from Houston is safe now (as well as all other cats in the area of southeast Texas and Louisiana).
Praying that Dio and family are safe in Houston! I heard that Miranda Lambert was sending aid for the animals effected by Hurricane Harvey. It is sad for both humans and animals to lose their homes.
Thank you for saving this little guy. I hope you have many happy years together. I also hope for his sake that you live in an area of Houston that was not hard hit from Harvey. Sad to see animals in shelters and animals that are just let loose to fend for themselves and kudos to everyone who cares for a pet(s). Like the name Dio. Does it means something like “God?”

Everyone Dio is safe and sound along with the others. I also am feeding 2 strays that are safe also. It was a few crazy days in Houston.
Wait a minute! I see pictures of two different cats here. The first pic is of a calico, which is almost certainly female, and the second pic is of a black-and-white tabby, which may be female but probably 2/3 likely male. I assume this tabby is Dio, since you talk about him in the masculine gender. Who is the calico, who’s looking like she’s having a good time?
Looking back at that first pictures, I see my error. what I thought was white, is lit by direct sunlight; what I thought was red, is lit by incandescent light that turned his white fur a shade of red.
With that new understanding, I see that Dio is, indeed, having a great time in the top pic :3
Dio mio! I’d already wished safety to Dio and his humans, but since he is some kind of Deity, perhaps he can be a protector…
Such a cute boy- glad to hear he & his family are safe. My guess – is he named for Ronnie James Dio, my favorite all-time vocalist?
You are correct; Dio is one of mine also so I named this little guy after him.

L ook… here I am I have tried out things in the same manner as you described and guess what!!! I have been successful in taking up the challenge and fulfilling the endeavor finally!!! There cannot be anything better than this.
