Tigger
Please give a warm welcome to our Star Kit for today, Tigger. She is 4 and a half years old from Athens, Ohio.
My husband found this cat up town, and she jump into the van, and he brought it home. It was only about eight weeks old. She has been the most loving cat. We have had her now for almost five years. If it wasn’t for us taking her in, she probably would have died, or got ran over in town. We live in a college town, where students get pets and just leave them behind when they leave.

Looks like Miss Tigger with here tiger-stripes is doing a great job as pizza guard! So glad that she found her furever home with you. And thumbs down to students who abandon their pets!

Re: the College kids. Some are highly irresponsible, but I also know that students will adopt a kitty, then when they graduate try to find a job and a place to live. The landlords often don’t like or accept cats and the kids are heartbroken because they can’t find someone to help or to care for their kitty until they CAN find a place friendly to cats. I guess you could say that they’re irresponsible in not thinking about after school, but who wasn’t? (I’m a ‘mature’ grad student and I’ve heard that story from grieving students before.)
I’m really glad to read how Tigger chose you. I wish all stories were as happy!
Miss Tigger knew who her purr parents were and came home. She’s gorgeous and very much in charge of the pizza! Thanks for giving her a furever home.
