Spinnaker and Mizzen

I’d like you all to give a warm TDK welcome to our Star Kit duo for today, Spinnaker and Mizzen. They are 4 years old (4 months old in the photo) from Jericho, Vermont.

Spinnaker and Mizzen

Spinnaker and Mizzen are litter sisters, the only two who survived of a litter of seven, and Mizzen nearly didn’t make it. Their mother was rescued from South Carolina by our daughter-in-law. Today they are two healthy cats! This photo is from when they were four months old. Today they are nearly 4 years old. But they still snuggle up and they wash each other’s faces on a regular basis. =^. .^=

By the way, their sail names match their personalities. A spinnaker sail is used at the front of a sailboat to catch the wind and move the boat along. It is a very showy sail. A mizzen sail is used at the back of the sailboat and acts as a wind rudder; even a small movement can change the course of the ship. Likewise, Spinnaker leaps high and wild when playing, while Mizzen hangs back and snags a toy with fine precision.
