Please give a huge TDK welcome to our newest Star Kit, Shane. He is 2 months old from Wuhan, China.
Shane was born on the first day of the Chinese New Year and his zodiac sign is “dog” which is hilarious but he does sometimes remind me of a little wolf. He’s extremely well-behaved, utterly curious, loves hugs and cuddles and climbing all over his mum (me) – he does own her after all. 😉 Shane’s a great mix of lazy and active and while he loves his sleep he also loves to follow me about the place, sleep as close to me as he can possibly can and enjoys keeping me company while I work with my laptop (read: sprawl out over the keyboard to prevent me from typing and seeing the screen properly). I used to be seriously scared of cats so I spend a long time thinking about whether I should or shouldn’t get a kitten but when Shane arrived it was love at first sight. He’s my little ray of sunshine and when I feel a little upset just seeing him makes my day.
Couldn’t imagine my life without the little fella anymore, I get so much pleasure out of being with him and looking after him, it’s unbelievable. On top of his curious character, Shane’s very smart and knows not to be upset when he has to take some medicine or anything, he knows I don’t do it to torture him but to help him and will still demand cuddles. He loves encouragement for climbing up and down various things, enjoys being talked to and has an ear for music. A very enjoyable companion.
