Please give a huge paws up to our latest Star Kit, Brudder. He is 5 years old from Apex, North Carolina.
Hi, I’m Brudder (formerly Frosty at the shelter). I turned 5 on April 16th. My mama came for me at the shelter when I was 2 ½. I was quite overweight but always very friendly and a born diplomat. I really like other kitties. I took care of all the new kids when they were put in the room with us and looked after the insecure or shy ones. I walk away from conflict unless there is no way to diffuse the situation except by stopping it. Many people liked me and I liked them, but I was waiting for my mama and I knew I would know her when she came in the room.
One day in early September 2015, she came in the room- as soon as I heard her talking outside the door I knew that was her. She kept saying she would let her new kids pick her. I could tell right away she was sad so I came right over, planted myself at her feet, and turned over on my back. I wouldn’t budge until she had petted my tummy. My purr is so little (and I am so big) she wasn’t sure about it, but when she looked at my face, she knew. It didn’t hurt that God whispered to her that I’d been waiting for her!
The first picture is me when I first got home before Mama got us transitioned to a raw diet. The second picture is me now, and the third picture is Paddington and me. We had never met before Mama brought us home but we really love each other and sleep nose to butt often! I’m on the left side.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.

Hello Brudder! You certainly chose your human well – and your human even had a wonderful companion for you in Paddington! I love reading about cats finding happy homes.
My beautiful noire Sophie chose me in the same way and brightened my life for 16 years.
