Please give a huge welcome to our newest Star Kit, Bandit. He is 1 and a half years old from Bishop, Texas.
I was present for Bandit and his brother Toulouse’s birth. The mother immediately abandoned them and despite my best efforts the mother still had no interest in them. So I took it upon myself to take care of them. Bandit and his sibling were probably the easiest bottle babies I’ve ever had to raise. No poop issues or any health issues of any kind. Bandit and his brother are absolutely the sweetest cats I’ve ever seen in my life.

(We have a bottle baby, abandoned at around 10 days that looks just like Bandit and who is full of personality. Bottle babies are the best!)
Bandit is a beautiful sweetie, whose human mommy is a total sweetie for taking him and his sibling in.
I don’t know if you are experienced or new to raising kittens, but I’ve learned one thing that’s important that most new kitten humans don’t realize is that a kitten needs cat’s milk to get the immunities that would have been in its mother’s milk. What we consider “regular” milk — cow’s milk — can not provide those. Cat’s milk can be found in any pet supply shop, or maybe from your vet.

Oh my goodness!!!! Bandit looks as cuddly as a teddy bear. Easy to see how (as someone mentioned) he stole your heart.

Bandit, your black beauty would steal anybody’s heart. And, if you live up to your name and your species’ job description, you not only steal hearts, but also food, chairs, beds… I’m so glad that the right human was there to rescue you and your brother.
