Please give a huge paws up to today’s Star Kit, Neko Akuma. He is 2 months old from Fountain, Michigan.
We had to take our kitty in to the vet to send her on her next journey. She had gone into total kidney failure and just crashed. We were taking her home to join all our other beloved who had passed over the years. We had just turned off the highway, a few miles down the road the car in front of us swerved to miss something. My husband stopped the car and said “Oh S**t!”. I looked up and this little one was running down the middle of our lane.
I got out of the car and walked toward him. He kept running the other direction. I said “Hey, where are you going?” He turned and ran to me as if to say “where you been, I’ve been waiting for you!” He was only 2 pounds 1 ounce when we brought him home, he is now 3 pounds 5 ounces, less than 2 weeks later.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Wow! How great you stopped and found him and took him home to be cared for and loved. At such a sad moment, you were able to do that. <3<3<3
Oh my goodness. Angel kitty sent you a new love.
Oh my so bittersweet. Definitely an angel kitty.
Neko Akuma is a wee sweetie and thriving with your love and care.
He was sent to you.
Sometimes things happen for a reason. I too experienced the same thing. I lost my beloved Buddy one Saturday morning and that night my kids found a new kitten for me. I still miss my Buddy boy but Bonnie has been a blessing to me. I am glad you were there to save him. I am sorry for your loss.
I am so sorry that you had to part with your kitty. But glad that handsome noir kitty Neko Akuma came into your lives.
Your story makes my heart ache for you, the kitty you lost and the kitty you found. I love his name. Sadly, my Neko de Chi-Ninja has also passed from my life. I wish you many happy years with your new addition.
Who is the adult black cat? Did you have another, besides the girl who was dying?
My story wasn’t as immediate, but I had made that appointment for my 20+ year old Renzo, and he died at home the night before the appointment. I was utterly despondent. Neighbours found little Livia very underfed in the lane and pretty much forced me to take her. They thought she was a half-grown kitten but she was a very small adult, around 2 years old.
Both of these are/were sleek black cats as well. I must be a witch; I seem to attract black cats.
Your kitty send you a gift before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He’s a handsome noir boy.
Neko Akuma is beautiful! Sometimes life does indeed throw up what we need – for you, a tiny black kit to ease the heartache, and for Neko, the human love and care he needed.
Wonderful story. Watch that string – My cat eat one and it cost $$$ at the vet for her to get it out..she gave her something that made her throw up.otherwise she probably would have died. Once they start eating something they can’t spit it out so they keep eating. Vet said we’d be amazed what she has managed to “get out” of kitties. Thank goodness she didn’t have to do surgery.
What gorgeous kitties. Rescues are the best! Is little Neko Akuma really a Cat Demon?
Excellent record, continue in this way .

The big black boy is Samurai Ryu. We share house with 5 cats, Gyppsy Rose, Rippley, Catthulhu, Samurai Ryu and now Neko Akuma. All are rescued.
Apparently the kitty gods have determined we are not to have less than 5 cats. Whenever we fall short of that number, another kitty finds us.
