Please give a warm welcome to today’s Star Kit, Loud Mouth. She is 1 week old from Columbia City.
I found Loud Mouth in the barn behind a sheet of metal, the mother had abandoned it and left it for dead. I saw the mother up on the ledge, so I attempted to hand her the kitten, to which she hissed at the kitten. It was cold, barely alive and was starving, so I sprinted up to the house, put the kitten in a small hamper with a heating blanket (I set it on low for 10 minutes, then turned it off), then heated a sock filled with rice for the kitten to snuggle with, along with two small stuffed animals.
As I rushed around for a bottle, and some cat formula (I was oddly prepared) and attempted to feed the kitten, but when it would not eat. I was worried, so I filled up a dropper with cat formula, and it finally ate, went pee (on the heated blanket, which was off and unplugged) and the kitten would not stop meowing, which is how she got her name, Loud Mouth. She got quiet and went to sleep.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Aww! She’s adorable. Stay strong little Loud Mouth!
Beautiful little Loud Mouth must have good strong lungs – may she grow into a healthy, strong cat with your loving care. It sounds as if you are off to a good start together.
She’s adorable, but I think she’s a little older than one week – her eyes are already open. Thank you for rescuing her!
Yes, I agree with Dave that she is older than 1 week. She is lucky to have such a loud lion roar, or you never would have heard her cries for help. So glad you were prepared to save her life!
What a sweet but loud wee furball. Thank goodness she has a great loud voice. Thank you for rescuing her and how great that you had everything you need on hand too.
Wee Loud Mouth is precious. Thanks for being “oddly prepared” and rescuing your girl..
Sometimes a girl’s gotta raise the volume to get noticed. It worked. She is a gift and so r u!
Loud Mouth is as adorable as can be! Thank you for caring for her when mama didn’t/couldn’t.
Loud Mouth would fit my cat too. What a beautiful little kitten. She had strong lungs so you both would come together. May loud mouth grow up to be strong and healthy. My cat still has strong lungs and she is 11. LOL.
Sometimes when you’re way tiny you gotta make yourself heard! Miss Loud Mouth is awesomely cute!
