Boni

Please give a huge paws up to our newest Star Kit, Boni. She is 3 weeks old from Indiana.

Boni

Boni’s mother is one of the cats that I bottled raised from when her mother was killed by two dogs. Boni’s mother just stopped feeding her kittens at the end of 2 weeks old. Sadly I didn’t get to Boni’s sister on time and she passed away. I swore up and down that Boni was gone too because they both were laying side by side each other motionless. I poked her sister fearing the worst and she was stiff. I looked at Boni and I barely seen her side raise up from her breathing. I reached down and grabbed and was relieved to hear a meow but broke my heart on how weak her voice was. I instantly brought her inside and put a nice warm blanket by her and went straight to Wal Mart and got her formula and a syringe.

I don’t believe she likes to eat from artificial items only her mom. But I sadly made her eat but glad because I want her to be strong. When I found her her eyes were all crusted and she sounded like she had a stuffy nose and has trouble breathing. It’s been a couple days and I tried to clear her eyes and it helped some and I got a humidifier going. Going to the vet early in the morning and I hope she wins this fight. I always fear but gotta have faith. Her name Boni means blessed in an African language. She is blessed for sure.
