Please join me in meeting and greeting our latest Star Kit, Cirilla. She is a 1 week old Calico from Las Vegas.
Meet, Cirilla (Ciri) for short. She is named after a main character of a video game (Watcher 3), and just like the character she is strong willed has a spitfire sassy cattitude! Ciri came into my life very unexpectedly she was found by my brother-in-law in a shoe box in a tennis court by an apartment complex. It was around 2 am and very cold outside so he took her box and all to the only person he knows who owns a cat…ME.
He came in the dead of night with her and when I saw her she was very fiesty screaming and whining. I had no idea what to do; I’ve only had a cat and no experience with kittens let alone one so small, I was panicked and did the first thing that popped in my head. I grabbed her and tucked her in my shirt. She instantly stopped screaming and just kept whining then I got her kitten formula, bottle and syringes, heating pad, kitten wipes and also a food scale. I then started treating her with the help of the internet and of course reading advice and facts from dailykitten. I would have been so lost without this site I’m so grateful to everyone whose post I read about caring for an infant kitten. Thank you so much and wish me luck! ??

Thank you for taking care of adorable little Ciri! I assume that since you seem to care enough about how to best take care of her to go searching for info, then you are already giving her cat’s milk, not cow’s milk. Good for you!

Thank you and your BIL for rescuing wee Ciri! She is just a tiny one determined to be a sassy grrl.
Of course she has catitude; she is a calico. Calicos and torties are naturally sassy and she needs attitude as tiny as she is to survive. Bless you for taking her in and being her human kitty mama. There are many other great human kitty mamas that will provide you loads of support here. Please keep us updated about Ciri:)
what a miracle that you found her – sounds like you’re doing fine. a vet visit before too long would be good; looks like you’re well on your way to having a very fine cat. 🙂

Thanks for saving that sweetie. I to had found a kitten and had to learn. He grew up big and healthy. Went to heaven last november at age 15.
