Please give a warm welcome to our Star Kit for today, Dempsey. He is a 1 an a half month old Orange Tabby from Keller, Texas.
Dempsey (formerly Einstein) was a foster kitty with Willow & Windi’s mom, Betty, a long time TDKer from Midland, TX. Many of us ‘oldies’ have met up and become ‘real life’ friends because of The Daily Kitten. Having just lost my beloved kitty, my home was without a cat for the 1st time in over 30 years. Two days later, Betty posted a picture of her new foster baby. He was orange and white, just what I wanted!
She and her husband, Andy, drove him 4 1/2 hours to my home (I recently had surgery on both feet) so he could become a new member of my family. He loves his new puppy sister, and enjoys throwing his 2 lb. body on her every chance he gets. After only 1 day, he fits right in and acts as if he has been here forever. Thank you Midland Humane Coalition and Betty & Andy for fostering him and giving him such a loving home.

Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Pounce on Dempsey!
Isn’t it wonderful how things can be made to work out sometimes. Dempsey looks like he was born there and loves it! Thanks to everyone for making this happen.
Hello Dempsey! How nice to see a long time TDKer kitty as the star kit!
Hi Dempsey,
So glad that things worked out so well for you!
He’s precious, I’m so glad he got a good home. He and his dog sister are very cute. I know they will make you feel much better!
Hi FondaHonda! *waving*
Great picture of Dempsey! Well, they’re all great, but that first one is totally precious!
I’m so sorry for your loss (of Bailey, if I remember correctly). TDK has worked some real magic, and this is a wonderful example.
So happy Dempsey has made himself at home with you. Wishing you many happy times together!
Thank you for fostering baby Einstein, Windy and Willow’s Mama! Scritches to the Tornado Twins (their nickname, if I’m remembering that correctly too) from Auntie Joan.
Yoohoo Fonda Honda ! !
Thuuuuuuuuuploof ! COA definitely required for your handsome wee boy. What a cutie.
So wonderful to see TDK and it’s magic still happening with the wonderful fostering Willow & Windi’sMama has done for Dempsey and now your turn to give him a furever home.
YEA!!!!! 🙂
That’s my boy!!! Yeah, Dempsey! He is such a silly boy and ADORES his canine sister Sophie. He made his first hiss yesterday when she came home with a new haircut. It took over an hour before he figured out it was his sister.
I like to think that both Bailey and Bosley had something to do with Dempsey’s arrival in my life. The timing of everything was uncanny! Of course, this wouldn’t have happened without Betty and Andy fostering him (and delivering him to me!)
This is so pawsome! Congrats on being Kitten of the day, Dempsey. … You are looking so good. Love your family ….
Foster parents make a huge difference in having very adoptable and loving kittens. Wee kittens learn to trust humans and enjoy cuddles because of them. Everyone is a winner in this sweet story.
