Please say a huge hello to today’s Star Kit, Elliot. He is 2 months old from Wichita, Kansas.

I first saw Elliot at the Humane Society hanging by a claw for his dear life from a shelf that he was previously perched on. That’s when I knew that he had to come home with me. Though clumsy, Elliot is a little Houdini. That’s not to say that he doesn’t make a great deal of noise and mess when he performs his little escapes. Whenever I leave him in my room for the day (because my roommate also has an older cat who is not quite used to him yet – his food, water, toys and litter are all in my room, so not to worry), he somehow finds a way out. For this reason I like to call him Magical Mr. Mistoffelees.

He’s actually named after T.S. Elliot, the poet who wrote, “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cat’s”, the poetry that the music from Cats is based off of. His favorite pass times are play fighting with his Bubba (his stuffed kitty), falling asleep in awkward positions and jumping on my face at 5:30 in the morning. He’s getting more and more talkative, playful and sweet as the days go by. I love my new little buddy!
