Please say hello to our latest Star Kit, Minerva. She is a 1 year old Tortoiseshell to Tampa, Florida.
I first spotted Minerva one night after dinner, she was outside a store at a strip mall, begging for food from anyone who passed by. She was very talkative and friendly, though small and skinny. I wasn’t able to capture her the first night, but we went back the next night with a carrier and were able to scoop her up. At first she had a bad problem with worms and liver flukes, but after de-wormer and meds she is good to go. The vet figured she was a year old, but we think she might be younger due to her size, but that may have been from a life on the street.
She has been spayed, microchipped, and has had all her shots. We are now integrating her into our household, where we have two other cats, both about 4.5-5 years old. All of our cats are rescues or foster failures. Minerva is very friendly, extremely playful, and showing more and more “tortitude” as she settles in. Having been on the street a while she really loves food and treats.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.

Lucky, lucky, perseverant Minerva…… those kitties who’ve walked the streets and knocked on doors, hungry and unwanted, sure do know how to appreciate the food. 🙂
