Please join me in welcoming today’s Star Kit, Ace. He is a 3 month old Domestic Shorthair from Memphis, Tennessee.
My kitten was actually an early Valentines Day kitten! My boyfriend, (who got me the best gift EVER), took me to a high kill shelter to find one. I wanted a rescue kitten. They had just got three kittens of the same litter that day! They had no mom and were scared to death. One particular little boy stood out to me though. He has backed up against the cage, a cream colored tabby, just gorgeous! They picked him up and let me hold him and even though he didn’t like me right away, I knew this was the one I wanted.
We took him out they gave him his shots right there and we adopted him! We took him to Petco got him a little cubby hole then took him home and fed him. It didn’t take but maybe a few days for him to warm up to me! Now he climbs into bed with me and snuggles me while he sleeps and plays with me and even waits for me to walk through the door! He is the sweetest animal I have ever had and I love him so much!
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Pounce on the little orange boy! What a sweet little face – he likes you plenty good now !!
Ace is a beautiful kitten and having a rescue kitten is about the best thing anyone can do!
It looks like he is off to a good start and I am sure he will bring you lots of love in the future.
Bless you for getting a rescue kitten and from a “kill shelter” at that. I can see why you are so smitten with your kitten. He is gorgeous and has the sweetest eyes. Many happy years with your cream sickle kitty:)

Rescue me, FUZZ!
Wee Ace is adorable and I see why you fell in love! Orangies are the most affectionate kittahs, too. Thank you for adopting from a high kill shelter. May you have many more cuddly, playful times together.
Thank you for saving Ace. I hope his sibs got adopted too! He looks very happy!
Orangies are AWESOME!
Many long years of purrs, snuggles, and head bonks (and nose rubs and …) for you and yours!
Lucky Ace to have found you.
Ace is a hands-down winner and so are you for adopting from a high-kill shelter! What a sweetie and didn’t take him long to warm up to his furrever home!
Ace is totally stunning! Love his coat coloring and markings!
What a sweet face Ace has! I love his little pink nose. 🙂
Aww, I’m so happy you listened to your heart and brought Ace home. He was so traumatized that day he couldn’t show you his approval. Ace quickly figured out he had a great new Meowmmy. Bless you for adopting him.
Ace in a whole for today’s Star-kit of the day as Ace w/the golden eyes!
