Well, it’s the weekend and to start us off we have Jurema. She is a 5 month old Seal point Siamese Ragdoll mix form Washington.
A few years ago I found I am unable to produce a child due to my blood type, rh-. My boyfriend of 3 years and I always talk about how it’d be like to have a kid, it would take a lot of responsibility and it would be a time consuming task to carry out. We have a lot of love to give so we ended up getting a little baby kitty off craigslist, we traveled hours to get to him because the contact would keep telling us something different each time. We ended up going to a house where we saw him for the first time. They had him laying down in his own urine soaked rag in a cage, he was scared and kept trying to get away. Jurema hid for days in a corner of the room, there was much patience involved in getting him to come out. He wouldn’t eat or drink and I became scared and worried, when he finally ate, his poop was diarrhea and he would go a day without food or water. We bought Organic catfood an the old kitten food he was eating, mixing it slowly to change his diet because his tummy is so sensitive, eventually his poop became solid. He can only eat tuna or his organic catfood now, we’ve tried soft foods as well. Whenever we eat tuna he will cuddle up to us and attack our food trying to steal it away for himself even though his cat bowl is full.
Now whenever he wakes up he will let out a silent meow or a repetitive meow-meow in a soft pitch tone and purr intensively. He is leash trained and sleeps every few hours on his cat play pen, but when he wakes he will wreak havoc on the house running around like he just did catnip. I would take him for walks in the snow when it did snow and he loved it. He is excellent on car rides and sits or sleeps in your lap and slams his forehead against your body while purring showing his affection. We love, kiss, and cuddle him every day and call him our baby, he is quite the ladies man.
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.
Caturday Pounce!
Wow, Jurema is so handsome and floofy! I am sorry you cannot have a child but very happy that you have opened your hearts to a pet. Thank you for rescuing him from less than satisfactory conditions. You are the best furparents ever! It will be fun to watch his seal point markings become more prominent as he matures. Maybe you can submit another pic when he is older?
Wishing you all the best!
He is a very handsome little ladies man, and I bet the ladies love him too. I’d like to echo Joan’s sentiments in thanking you for getting him out of such horrid conditions and giving him a loving home. All the best, and definitely keep us updated on his progress as he grows.
Awwww…I just want to kiss little Jurema’s nose! Sweet boy had such a rough start and God Bless you both for giving Jurema the wonderful life he so richly deserves. =^..^=

FUZZ on the road to recovery
Mr. Jurema is lucky you made room for him. I get so angry at the conditions pets are kept in but am so thankful you and your boyfriend rode in (on a white stallion) to rescue this wee kit. I can see why he’s such a lady’s man because he’s adorable, kissable and cuddly. Mr. Jurema is blessed with the best purr parents EVER! I want to kiss his fluffy nose! Happy Caterday
What a darling he is and very lucky to have parents like you! How wonderful you are filling your hearts with love for this little furrbaby. There need to be more people like you in the world!
Oh my! I am so glad you took him in and are giving him such good care. He’s a little cutie pie.
🙂
Bless you for taking care of this sweetie! Be sure you feed him “kitty” tuna and not human tuna. The kind you buy for your own tuna salad doesn’t contain taurine and cats will go blind without taurine. They need the cat food tuna.
Look at that swwwweeet cotton face. Great name too. Mwaaahhhhhhh
What a happy ending to a horrifying start! Than you for taking in the awesomely adorable Jurema!
Head bonks to you for saving Jurema. May you have many, many years of purrs with this cute fellow.
Oh what a sweet, sweet baby. Thank you SO MUCH for rescuing him, he will reward you daily with his sweet love.
