Location: Grand Prarie, Texas, USA
This little girl (and her five sibs) were found in a box spring mattress because she was screaming her little lungs out. She had gotten her right front paw caught in bunting in the box springs resulting in no circulation. I found them and brought them inside where it was dry and lots of food and the other cats cleaned them and fussed over them.
Sadly, she lost her paw and had to have a partial amputation. It hasn’t slowed her down and she still runs around with the others (And wins most of the wrestling matches). This picture is of her second visit to the vet (She was wrapped in a towel and laying on my chest dozing and woke up with this look).
Needless to say this little girl has her furever home.

Poor little Virago. Bless you for helping out the wee kittens. Virago’s cries were probably from the pain, but probably saved all the kitten’s lives. Prayers being sent for health, happiness, great homes and lots of purrs for all five.

What a little sweetie she is. Poor baby getting her little foot stuck! I’m so glad the other cats are taking care of them and fussing over them, they need the TLC!

Virago is a little hero! It’s a shame she lost her paw, but she undoubtedly saved the whole litter! Bless you for being there to hear her cries. She will reward you with a lifetime of love.
Those extra-loud little-kitten voices were put there for a purpose! Such cries have doubtless saved many a little feline life, and in this case, several such lives.
