Malcolm

Hi Internets!!! My name is Malcolm. I was such a cute kitten, my Mom thought I should show myself off again. I was a Daily Kitten last year, I think. I just turned 4 years old, and I wanted to introduce you to my brothers and my sister. They’re awesome cats, and they taught me everything I needed to know about being a big kitty.

I’m the little orange tabby in this picture. I was about 3 months old here. Next to me is my big brother Gandalf. He was a Daily Kitten too! He’s a black cat, even his whiskers are black! When I first arrived at my new home, he took care of me – he’d clean me, and make sure I was warm and that I ate all my dinner and stuff. If I got lost in the apartment and I started to cry, he’d rush over and find me and make sure I was OK. He has something called epilepsy, and when he gets all shaky and funny, I get scared. But Mom takes good care of him afterwards, and I snuggle with him so that he knows it’s all OK. I love him.

On the other side of me is my big sister Mae! She has really soft, grey fur with white patches. She may sometimes act grumpy when I lie next to her, but I know she secretly likes me! Sometimes she’ll clean my head, and she still lets me cuddle with her. She’s 14 years old now, can you believe it?! Mom says she’s still a little Princess Girl, whatever that means. I love her too.

And the brownish tabby is my big-big brother Atticus. He is so awesome! He’s 15 now, and has something called diabetes, but Mom gives him a needle everyday, and he’s doing really well. My first night at home? I got caught in between the couch cushions, and started to cry. Mom didn’t hear me, so Atticus jumped on the coffee table (she was sleeping on the couch), and started pawing her arm until she woke up and could come and get me. Isn’t he just the bestest big brother?!? I love him.

I was such a lucky kitten! I have the best brothers and sister in the world. And my Mom loves me very much too, and that makes me very happy. I love my life!

Thanks for reading! Love, Malcolm
