POUNCE! x5!
awwww…..*thud* COA! What a wonderful start to Sunday and a lovely birthday prezzie to me; a full kaboodle of tiny kittens! Thank you for caring for them and Mum, lucky you to have so many little bellies to snorgle. I can hear the tiny mews from here 🙂 *sigh*
You are going to keep five cats?!? Hope you’ve budgeted for vet visits, having them neutered … and at least 3 litter boxes!
They are utterly adorable. I’d like to see the mum – sure she still qualifies as an adolescent kitten.
Thud!! Really made my day!!! They are as cute as can be. Love the silver one!! Hope to see an updated photo later in their lives. So wonderful that you are keeping all of them!! Best of luck and many happy years with them!! Cute names!
I have 5 cats. 2 litter boxes that I scoop twice a day. All are neutered and spayed. All inside cats. None are de clawed, I don’t believe in that. As for budget, take care of what ever as it comes along. I had 6 but recently had to put one down due to a serious illness. I have a very small house but I could not be without my cats. One of sisters has 7. Her story is the same as mine. If your heart is in the right place, it can be done. I could NOT be without my pets. (I have dogs also)
Just look at that adorable pile of kitties!
I’ve had as many as three at one time and they were no trouble at all. I’d have added two more given the opportunity. Perhaps you’ll give us some updated pictures as the babies grow. Have fun! ^ ^
Awwwwwwww! So Kawiia! 🙂
One of these FUZZ is not like the others..
Catch a FUZZ by the toe
Awwww! Cute little bundle of fuzziness.i want to snuggle all of them. 🙂
THUD! Five times over! How wonderful to have Eenie, Meenie, Miney, Mo and Fred all together with you. They are just so adorable. Wishing you all much happiness!
They will give you hours of entertainment with their antics. As long as you can afford to care for them properly there is no such thing as “too many”.
What a precious crew. I think it is pretty amazing to be willing to care for 5 kittens. I have three cats who are indoor only, neutered, and they are extremely well cared for. I hope mama cat will get fixed soon. Maybe your area has a good low cost spay & neuter program that can be taken advantage of. I wish you & the kitten crew much health & happiness.
Which one is Fred?
Oooooh, the adorable babies!!! I, too hope mom gets spayed – and the babies, too, when they are old enough. I do so envy you the time with this adorable quintet! They grow and change so rapidly…Did anyone else ever read the story about the returning GI who bonds with 5 squirrels named: Eenie, Meeny, Miney, Mo and Still-Mo? I am sure you can handle 5 kits.
I love your circles of fur babies! They are so precious and kissable. Thank you for fostering momma and her kits. When Momma is spayed, she’ll have a great life with your friend. And you will have a handful of loving kits running your life.
Thanks for your concern and yes I thought long and hard about the budget side of adopting them but have taken on extra shifts at work to make it happen!
Fred is the one with the most orange.
I will also be getting mama spayed for my friend as a baby shower gift…a little unorthodox but she loves the idea. Thanks everyone for your fantastic comments!
Good for you! You are a wonderful cat person! Blessings to your delightfulfur family!
BTW Fred is probably a girl. Frederike is a nice name, too.
Good for you Zombievixen – if those babes stole your heart, you’ll find a way. I have 8 kitties – 4 we found abandoned at 1 week old. Never wanted 8 but after we couldn’t find a no kill shelter we did our homework and decided we could make it work without much effort. I posted to every shelter and vet in my area and a absolutely fabulous vet called and gave us a super great deal and got all 4 fixed with all the shots and licenses! BTW – same fur-faces just turned 4 yrs old April 11th. Blessings to you and enjoy the company.
Yes, the calico is almost certainly a girl. Frieda, Frédérique, Frederika… It is wonderful to hear from Zombievixen, and I’m glad she is aware of the financial implications. It certainly wasn’t a criticism – I love cats (duh!) But my Renzo cost me well over $1000 the first week I had him (he was a stray kitten who adopted me)and I was only working part-time at the time. We managed. We still have one another 17 years later.
I’d still love to see the wee mum!
What a bundle of sweet fuzz you have there. Adorable!
Take lots of photos before they’re so fast that you get nothing but a blur for a picture! Thank you for having such a big, squishy heart! May you have fun with your fur family for many, many years.
