Adorable kitten! You are wonderful for saving him.
Pounce? Hello handsome Wilfred! 🙂
What an adorable little guy! I and Mr. Wilfred are so glad you have chicken to make him a healthy, happy kitty. Now that he has his furever home with a loving mom, he thrives! Well done and many happy times ahead.
Good pounce, caroline.
Only because I refuse to pounce! 😉
He looks pretty happy now. I love that phrase “but quickly realised that I had cooked chicken”. What a way to win over a scared kitten. My cats don’t hang around when I cook meat even though I offered them little scraps of it. I know it’s technically better they don’t eat people food, but it would be cute to see them go crazy over something I cook.
The way to a cat’s heart is through his stomach. Wilfred’s coloring is gorgeous! Thanks for caring for him.
Wilfred is a precious little kitty. Thank you for the rescue. He sounds like a wonderful addition to the family. ^ ^
What big beautiful golden eyes you have, Wilfred! Love his markings, and what a cute pose!
Upside down FUZZ
FUZZ finally got some good food.
Plain roast chicken is fine. The problem is that some common seasonings (onion, garlic etc) are bad for cats. Not a problem when saving a stray.
In the long term, cats need some nutrients they won’t get from muscle meat along, as they eat the innards and the partly-digested vegetable matter the bird, for example, has eaten…
He looks quite theatrical with his big eyes and ears!
Wilfred has my heart! He’s just adorable. Thank you for rescuing him and giving him a chance for health, love and happiness.
P.S. I’m surprised you didn’t name him “Spud”.
What a funny, sweet, stripey l’il guy! I love his huge golden eyes, he looks like he is having some fun being upside down in that pic. Thank you for taking him in and caring for him so well, please give him many cuddles and treats from me 🙂
I’ll bet little Wilfred never wants to see mashed potatoes again in his life. Look at those lovely eyes!
Wilfred is adorable in this pose. Big eyes & ears make him look inquisitive. I’m so glad you found each other & that he’s doing well.
Yaaaaaa for Wilfred and bless you for rescuing. When I rescued my two from a semi-feral colony it took them years to come around and now I can’t get them off me. 🙂
Oh you did a good thing. Yay for you both.
Thank you so much for rescuing Wilfred & for giving him a loving home. He’s not out of proportion……he’s purrrrrrfect!
My furkids & I wish you & Wilfred many happy, healthy years. =^..^=
Love the angle! Wilfred is adorable! 🙂
Wilfred looks very relaxed in this photo. It’s great that you have been able to give him a good home and good food!
I’d be willing to bet that Wilfred had it planned all along after being tired of mashed potatoes and held out for you with best noms, better health & furever home! Concats to our special survivor Star-kit today at TDK!
