Location: Billings, Montana, USA
My dear friend Bonnie found little Ali Kat on a freezing November morning in an alley in Circle, Montana. Less than five wks old, alone, starving, with a herpes virus so severe that both eyes were glued shut. Knowing we had recently lost one of our beloved cats, Bonnie’s husband Dan drove 300 miles to bring Ali to us. Medication healed her, although a year later she still has only partial eyesight & is cross-eyed. That hasn’t stopped her from ruling the house with her non-stop antics. She truned our 13-yr old cat Annie into a kitten again, and our three dogs are very protective of her. Since we worry about her safety because of her eyesight, she always wears a bell so we know where she is. Ali has brought such joy to our home, we simply cannot imagine life without her. Her eyes may not be perfect but her vocal cords a re. She was hollering in the alley then, and she’s hollering at us now. We thank God and Bonnie & Dan every day for this little mischievous bundle of love!
Tom is the owner of 4 amazing cats, and using the Daily Kitten he provides a place for cat and kitten lovers to share the love for their own cats and kittens.

Ali Kat has beautiful eyes-deep and soulful. I’m so glad Ali hollered your name because you and your family deserve the best. Congrats and thanks for giving Ali Kat a loving, furever home. I love Ali Kat’s name.
What a wonderful story! Ali Kat is a beautiful girl and her eyes, even if not perfect, are so expressive. What a lucky day for all of you when your sweet friends brought Ali Kat into your lives!
Bless you and your friends for rescuing this beautiful girl. May you have many happy, healthy years with her. Please give her a big hug and some chin skritches for me.
God Bless Bonnie and Dan! And bless you for taking care of one of God’s creatures in need! ๐
She is beautiful! I’m so glad she is safe and loved! ๐
Ali Kat is so pretty! So glad you can give her the home she deserves and to be a friend to Annie.
Hey Billings, Glendive here! Such a pretty kitty and I love her name. Glad she was rescued. May you enjoy many years with Ali Kat.
What a wonderful story. Yay for everyone!
I’m so glad Ali Kat has a happy ending to her story! And there’s nothing better than a happy furever home!
Bless you and your dear friends for having the compassion to give Ali Kat a very loving forever home. I wish soulful stories like this were the rule of the day, where people automatically would respond to an animal in need as Ali surely was. Many happy loving years with Ali Kat! Give her some snuggles and treats for me.
I don’t know, she sounds perfect to me. In the important ways at least. ๐ Thanks to you and your friends for rescuing her.
Awwww! She reminds me of my grey diva when we adopted her at 9 weeks old. She also was quite a talker. Not so much these days, but she can still holler when she wants attention to be paid, pronto! ๐
Very uplifting story! She is beautiful.
Hi Billings, Missoula here. My kittens (now young cats) were gotten out from under a trailer that is situated by the ally. I call them and their mom true ally cats. Your little beauty qualifies, too. Loved her story.
What a wonderful story. Ali is adorable and she also has a very pretty coat!
This is just precious! I love the story and the adorable eyes:) Usually animals with a rough start in life turn out to be the ones with the most life and spunk. Ik kuz I had a cat like that for 11 years:) She was also a ally kitty herself. I got her at 4 wks. The strays always have the most heart and know when they have it good! Lol.
Ali Kat is beautiful!! I love gray cats, light gray, dark gray, inbetween gray!! Thank you for taking care of this beautiful girl!!
From alley to throne you have come a long way Ali Kat our black booie cutie patootie the special survivor kit and fitting Haloweenie Star-kit of the Day at TDK!
You certainly have some wonderful friends. Kittens have such a rough time when they get upper respiratory infections when they are tiny. It sounds like Ali Kat has survived the worst of it. May she grow strong and healthy with all the love that surrounds her.
Ohhhh Im in luv what a cutie patootie. She makes myheart melt!
You can just tell she’s a sweetie. . .
So glad you gave this special lady a loving home and blessings to Bonnie and Dan for helping to save this cutie.
Yours was my favorite comment about Ali Kat. You are right of course. She IS perfect!
Poor, precious little thing – thank you for taking her in and taking care of her! Special people open their homes to special needs kittens, I hope you have many happy loving years with her ๐
God bless you all for saving this sweet little soul.
