Goddard

I brought Goddard home from a pet store. I stopped for dog food and was won over by her sweet bellows. They told me she was eight weeks old. When we visited the vet, they informed me she was a bit younger.

Goddard had the longest tail I have ever seen, it was just as long as her whole body and then some. She also had the most perfect soft little feet.

Goddard was pampered by our two small dogs. Cuddled, protected, mothered. All this dog attention gave her the idea that she was a dog herself. Goddard fetched, came when called, begged at the table, trotted everywhere she went, and dominated the water bowl.

When upset Goddard would steal small personal items and drop them in the dog water bowl.

My sweet Goddard was murdered by my unsavory neighbor. My two dogs mourned her as much as I did.
