Location: Oxford, Alabama, USA
“Sweetie” was born under her owner’s house, along with her other two litter-mates. Mom brought the others out and left “Sweetie” under the house because she was stuck in the air return vent. Assuming she was left to die, the owner’s daughter was unable to stand the thought and her crying and was able to fish her out after her 4th day of captivity! The owner loved her at first sight and decided to keep her & her sister. She’s a healthy little kitty girl now and loves to be brushed! She flops down on her side, saying “brush me!” whenever anyone comes near her!

Sweetie is certainly aptly named! How wonderful she and her sister were adopted by her rescuer. She’s a beautiful calico girl, I’d be brushing her all day if she was mine. Treats and hugs to her 🙂

Im so happy to read that Sweetie was able to be rescued from the vent, bless you for your caring and saving her. Her crying out to be saved had to be heartbreaking and unbearable to hear,its great there was a way to free her.
