Bunny

I found my kitten Bunny on April 17, 2009, at the Tokeland Marina on the Washington Coast, at the end of a rock jetty. He was shining in the sun like an angel. He was also starving — just skin and bones. I managed to catch him using a can of catfood, and within two days he was purring and eating up a storm. He looked like a little rabbit, so I named him Bunny. Now that he’s a big bruiser, we also call him Bubba. He bosses around our two other cats and our two big dogs, but also loves playing with them. He’s the most affectionate cat I’ve ever had. He’s at least part Maine Coon — he has all the physical and personality characteristics of that breed. And he has a black spot on the back of his left forearm, just like the lucky Japanese Maneki Neko cats that you see statues of in stores and restaurants, holding up their paw. We are so lucky to have him, and I think he feels lucky to have us!
