This is my baby Kaieteur a few weeks after I got him. It is one of the few moments that he’s awake and still enough to take a picture. He’s adjusted very nicely, and now owns the place!

what is a ‘kaieteur’ and what might be his lineage? He’s absolutely lovely, gonna be one handsome cat!
he’s named after a large waterfalls in Guyana, South America. When I first got him his fur resembled the color of the water of the falls, and his personality is as huge as those falls. I got him from a local shelter, so as far as I know he is just a male DSH, his markings appear to be somewhat tabby, but I really am not sure. His mother was not at the shelter, and he was the last of his litter to be adopted out, so I have no idea what the rest of his cat family looks like. Fact remains he is now the animal love of my life!
Kaieteur can come over and lounge on my laptop any old time he wants to! What a handsome kitty! You must be very proud of him.
He is all eyes & cute as a button. Bet he’s a handful.
