Sweet Delilah – all mine!
She is ready to challenge the whole world! Come hear, cuddle bug, I want to hear your motor.
Whack-bonk sticks comin out…this one has to be shared!
What a beautiful baby! But what unusual fur growth…..
I’m afraid I’d be tempted to give her a haircut.
Delilah is indeed sweet…and huge! and gorgeous!! She looks decidedly unamused, tho, was someone teasing her off camera about her cheek fluffs? π
well, maybe not quite cheek fluffs…temple fluffs?
how a bout fluffs
I would have picked this little beauty too, even though she seems to have the Mark of the Beast on her forehead!
GW Where do you see the mark of THE BEAST on this cute little kitty? I can’t believe you chose to print that publicly in your comment! Shame on you.
The mark on Longstocking’s forehead is not the mark of the beast.
Where I come from, we call it the Lily of Mary. According to legend, Mary, the mother of God, traced her initial on the mama cat who was also in the stable. The mama cat had come to the manger to look at the Baby, and she then looked up with pure love into Mary’s eyes as one mother to another.
When Mary traced the initial on the little cat’s forehead, she lifted her hand, and as a mark of grace for the cat’s affection for Mary, a lily appeared under the initial. The lily appeared to display the purity of the love between the mother of God and the little stable cat.
YAY, Emma!!! Of course this sweet kitty does not have the mark of the beast!!!!
My, my, my Delilah! Love your hairdo!
I all ways thought that too
Emma, that’s a beautiful story–never heard that before. Thank you!
What a great story, Emma. And one I never heard of before. And well deserved, too.
In the Islamic world, there is a similar story. Mohammed loved cats, and his own cat once saved his life from a snake. His cat fell asleep on his sleeve, and rather than bother the cat when he needed to get up, Mohammed just cut the sleeve off so the cat could continue to sleep. His petting the cat marked its forehead with an M, to show his love of cats.

I heard emmas story but not yours wow
Ah such a cute little scowl…so fluffly!
Love your pigtails, Delilah! Now you need little bows on the ends.
Beautiful Delilah! She could certainly tame any “Samson” who comes her way!
I Love you Delilah!!! Your pigtails are adorable…
What a beautiful kitten Delilah is! Love the pigtails, Miss Longstocking!
WHY WHY WHY can’t I have Delilah?!?!!!! She’s too beautiful! GIMME GIMME GIMME!
I wonder how many picked up on the Tom Jones theme?
Dammit, I was going to use a Tom Jones line! π
Meow, Meow Little Delilah!! You are one hip looking chick! I think your little tuffs beneath your beautiful ears is very modern looking…Very Fresh!!! Congratulations for being chosen the Daily Kitten Delilah….Headbonks & Purrs from neighboring Glendale, Or.!! π
How beautiful she is. I love her sweet face.
What an unusual little girl! Love the hairdo and the distinct ‘M” on her forehead. I always heard “Madonna” kitties were the most loving.
Delilah is beautiful! I love her coloring!! Her pigtails add more character π She does seem to say, will you take the picture already..lol
What a cutie!! Would love to see her grown up!
Hey there Delilah whats it like in Roseburg lol
OH WHAT YOU DO TO MEEEEEEEE….
he he heeeee
Why have fur like all the other kitties? Delilah is one of a kind!
She is beautiful and I’ll bet she’ll do her best to take care of your family.
Where’s Samson? FUZZ
We are not amused FUZZ
She looks like she’s part bobcat. So beautiful!
Pretty little Delilah, I see the beautiful flower on your forehead…you’re a special kitty! Purrs and headrubs from south of you, from Lacey and Moki and me in Ashland OR.
Delilah is a Maine Coon.

Tell her mom to keep her very well entertained or Delilah will find ways to entertain herself. My MCs have been very creative in entertaining themselves (before I figured out their high intelligence and need for stimulation.) Dumping and sorting trash seems to be a favorite. There are always treasures to be found in there. But they will dump and sort anything, go through drawers and cupboards, and walk just about anywhere they want to. I’ve found telling them no to be futile. They are smart enough to know when you aren’t looking and will do it anyway. Just give in to it, life is easier on everybody that way. Other than that, they are pretty trainable.
Regardless of what Wikpedia says, the two MCs I’ve owned (one pound kitty and one purebred) will/would eat anything and everything. I do feed a very high quality all-meat diet though. My current MC is a sugar fanatic and can smell sugar from the other end of the house. He has no interest in artificial sweeteners.
They are a challenge, like living with a perpetual 2-year old human, but I will never live without one now that I’ve had one. Their unique personalities are so much fun!
Oh, and tell Delilah’s mom that Delilah will probably play fetch with her. π
What great tips, Whispurr! We sure wish that you would come and join us in the chat room and share more info!
I clicked on TDK chat, but it looks like more forums? :-S
Dunno where to go.
Hi whispurr, join us in the cafe in the morning and there is usually a night shift too.Other than that if you see something that interests you chime in.
You and anyone else are welcome!!
Delilah is a lovely pig tailed kitten,I’d be tempted to put ribbons on her too though I doubt she’d leave them long.
Delilah reminds me a little bit of a lynx that I saw in the wild once, near Glacier Natl Park in Montana. It had long tufts of fur hanging from his cheeks and forelegs.
She’s a great-looking cat!
She looks like, “If I MUST sit here for this torture, I MUST, I suppose”
It’s so difficult for kitties to be photographed! tee hee.
so cute! i really miss my kitty so much! she ran away two days ago and i can’t stop thinking about it. i know it sounds lame but can everyone look at the video of her i made? i think if everyone sees her she’ll know that her mom loves her and wants her to come home π

I’ve watched your video JST, Goose is a little sweetheart – I take it you’ve done the obvious, flyers through neighbours doors, posters up in the neighbourhood? You could also try checking with local vets, see if anyone has brought in what they thought was s tray. Try leaving some food outside, the stronger smelling the better (tuna is good), alongwith something that smells of you, like a sweater. I hope she comes back, they can be gone for days thinking they’re having a great adventure, not realing how worried their Mums are. {{hugs}}
JST – little Goose is a sweetheart. She likes her Yeungling. I’m sure even if she is not normally outside that she can find her way back. Good luck and let us know when she gets back. St. Francis will watch over her while she has gone exploring.
oh I rremaember when my cat ran away I cried all night but then the little pig came back for FOOD!
Awwwwwwww such a cutie!!!!!
Delilah is a beauty, but I couldn’t help thinking of someone with an ill fitting wig at first glance!!! π
Very cute π I love that tabby colouring! Monochrome kitty lol!
Chey
opps sorry Main coon with tabby stripes.
If I had a house I would probably have my cali, tortie and add a main coon, Siamese and a Bengal lol. For now I will just stick to my two lovely girls lol.
Chey
hi so cute
I looked at the picture and all I could say was…. WOW!
I love the fur! She’s adorable! π
Aww….those lil “pig tailes” made me chuckle – out loud!!!! What a lil fur person, she is! π
I think she’s part Maine Coon, judging from the shape of her face and nose, and the tufts of fur. Is she a large kitty? Regardless, she’s gorgeous!
is this cat one of our tdkr’skitties?
cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
