nice to see siblings stay together and be best buds to each other !!!
Terrific Tuesday, TDKers! I wonder if my Bosley looked like Turbo when he was little? 🙂
I don’t think Bosley was ever that little.
That’s mean! Bosley is just big boned.
Thanks, N & N’s Mom–and remember, he does have a low metabolism! His diet starts Friday–hopefully, I’ll have hair left when I return to school because his favorite trick is to bite my hairline above my ears (OUCH!!!) when his bowl is even half-full. Imagine the poor, scrawny baby dragging his listless body to my bed because he’s starving to death with no food in the dish. . . 🙁
FH, you will have to keep us posted on poor Bosley’s “diet”, in a few weeks we will all be suffering along with him. Nora has taken to running me down as soon as I head into the kitchen. Then she stands by her bowl, looking pathetic. The good news is that she has lost weight.
Oh no, I love Big Bos. He’s just a big cuddly boy. No harm intended Big Bos!!! I luuuuuuuuuuurve yew!!! 🙂
Yeah, in a couple of weeks he’ll be all skin-n-bones! 🙂
The poor thing won’t be able to walk because he’s so weak from hunger. . .
How exactly will this diet thing work? Less food or different food that’s low in fat?
*hugs to poor Bos*
Less of his favorite, Cat Chow. He has a ‘sensitive stomach’–I learned this the hard way when I feed him and Bailey some canned food. The vet said this is the way to go because some cats are real finicky and if they quit eating a new food, they can get extremely ill from losing too much weight too quickly. I told the vet that that is the same reason I’m not dieting–don’t wanna get sick!!
My Buttercup is also in the habit of meowing for food constantly, even when there’s food in her bowl. She and my husband taught each other that she should be given treats every time someone entered the kitchen. This went on until she hit 17 pounds and I hit the ceiling. She and Penny are now given three meals a day at regular times; the total amount of food will maintain a cat’s weight at 9 or 10 pounds. I ignore or try to distract Buttercup when she meows between meals.
All of my cats were overweight. When one of them became diabetic I put them all on no grain canned food. (Innova Evo, but there are other no grain foods. Natural Balance makes two, Venison and Green Pea and Duck and Green Pea.) They all lost a lot of weight spontaneously. The diabetic cat went from almost 12 lbs to 10 lbs and his sugar dropped to normal. No more insulin. Just an idea for anyone to try. These cats had been on low calorie foods their whole lives and are in their teens and had had weight problems until they ate the no grain foods.
I read that cats do not naturally eat grains the way dogs do and that the epidemic of Diabetes in cats has been partially caused by all the corn, rice, etc in their food, especially the dry variety.
Thanks for the tip SandiDQ…my old girl BooBoo is starting to get a little “junk in her trunk”..
Wow should have made that a pounce…pounce….What adorable fluff…*getting weak in knees*
Double cuteness!
Turbo- Tigger! Turbo Cute!
Nuts! Missed again!
These guys are adorable–love a pair of siblings.
I love to see kitties cuddle like that so sweet. None of mine cuddle each other but Sophie loves to cuddle with the dog
Mine used to cuddle until one got sick & couldn’t stand to be touched for a while. Now the most they do is share the bed with us!
Love this double fluff pair! Maybe they are not siblings but just acquired at the same age – that’s what happened with my two.
These two are so adorable! Hey, I have a sister in Wisconsin. Quick Jane, go get ’em!
Joan….no stealing the kitties…do I have to put in a call for the whack-bonk sticks?
Oh, ok, sigh. I don’t know what got into me, I’m usually quite mild-mannered. They’re just so dern cute! Here they are, in the sharing circle with my big sister as my guest.
Thank you Joan…but I understand..todays fuzz is doubled..it is hard to resist.
What a couple of cuties.. more than one makes for more fun!
What a cute pair of kitties. I’ll bet they’re beautiful now.
Turbo & Tigger are best buds…Whoever the orange marmalade one is looks alot like my guy “Yanni”. Enjoy
them and may you all have a Very Blessed Holiday Season !
I love it when kitties cuddle! These two are adorable together. I wish my two would cuddle instead of fight (or is it play).
I hope they still cuddle like this now that they’re older! Such comfort for each other.
Double the sweetness! kisses kisses on little kitten noses…
kittens and kaboodles, personified! Cute l’il kitties, all tabby and white. I love the “we weren’t doin’ nuthin’ ” look they are giving the photographer
“We wasn’t fighting! We was hugging!”
Thu-ploof, indeed.
Um, Emma? You ok? Here’s a pillow and some chocolate.
God bless you, Nurse Joan!
Aren’t they adorable — dizzy — pillow — THUD! [one hand eases over and clutches the chocolate]
I love the pair! They are adorable!
What a pair of cuties!! Speaking of dieting though, is that a bag of doritos on the sofa behind Tigger and Turbo? mmmmm—
I hope all the cats on diets this holiday season will at least get some special treats in their stockings!
Awww…kitty sibs that love each other mucho! How very sweet and double the fun!
And now we know what Tigger really look like 🙂

Beutiful little love bugs. I have 2 sisters (now 16 months old) that still sleep embracing…too cute!
Ooh, I’ve missed some cute kittens in the last couple of days, but it’s lovely to come back to these two!
What a cute pair of buds. I’m sure they keep the house in a roar.
Peace, hugs and purrs.
Gotta love this pair! They look like they’re hugging!
Great pose! It looks like these two knew they were having their picture taken.
Two by two FUZZ
Turbo charged FUZZ
Great kitties! They’re going to be best friends for life.
Brotherly love… how sweet! Kisses to both these cuties.
Hello —
I love the sibliings — have two adorable ones myself. They are both also overweight, I recently learned. My vet advised a pet food that is high in fiber (like about 10 percent) and low in fat (about 5 or 6 percent), which is not easy to find. Try Hill’s Science Diet Indoor Cat formula — my two love it. The fiber helps to keep their little bellies feeliing fuller, so they are not as hungry. Just like people who eat food high in fiber feel fuller longer. Hope this helps.
awww they look like best friends and both are soooo adorable! i bet they are double trouble fun 🙂
