Oh my! Looks like she fell asleep after sliding down from the top of the chair. ๐
What a funny picture! Kittens sure do sleep in the darndest of positions!
She gave me a much needed smile! ๐
Aww….just what I need before I go to work.
I don’t know who all will be on here today, but I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you out to everyone who supported me and my story of Charley the other day. I hadn’t told a lot of people about him… and it felt really good to share and get some love back! You guys are all amazing! (and that goes for the people who didn’t say anything, too)
lol this pick made me laugh it is propa funny wot odd place cats sit lol xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Good morning my TDK friends!!!
I have to go to work, but had a chance to pop on here and say hello and that I hope you all have a lovely weekend!!
Thanks you SO much for all your wonderful Happy Birthday messages to me on my birthday! That was so special….
When I get home from work, sometimes it is too late to comment so I just read and enjoy all the comments.
My Perry is hanging in there….. he seems weak and may have lost some weight, and he still meows at times. He did play a little yesterday. He is still eating the Hills c/d and I hope and pray it is not bad. I made chicken, ground beef, etc. and he just won’t eat it. He wants his dry food. (Pain in the neck picky thing)
Have a nice day all!!!
Great Dane…. If you see this I cried when I read about poor little Bob eating bad food!! Oh, I was so upset!!!! :'( I cannot believe these companies are getting away with this!!!!
Still sending positive thoughts to Perry and to Bob. Just trying to feed our kits has become a scary thing. Mine won’t eat home made either, unless it is poached fish.
Love the cute little tuxie baby today. Happy Saturday everyone!!!!! I’m working today ๐
Perry (and Bob) are on my ‘wish list’. Sending more healing thoughts.
Hey, you guys, I read (probably here) that cats don’t have great tastebuds, they go by smell. So put a little of something they go crazy for in the food your making. Just a thought. ๐ Prayers to you both.
It’s so stressful when our kitties are feeling sick. I hope both Perry and Bob feel better soon.
This kitten looks very cute and comfortable.
I haven’t read all the stories about Bob and Perry, but I’m so sorry that they’re not feeling well. We love our animals, don’t we?
I’ve been thinking about this pet food problem, and I don’t think it’s fair to blame the US and Canadian companies for the tainted food. If it was one manufacturer trying to get away with something in the name of profits then, yeah, I’d blame them. But so many pet food companies have the problem, I’m sure they didn’t all conspire together to use bad ingredients. It’s the Chinese companies at fault. They put the melamine into the wheat and rice gluten to make it seem to contain more protein so they could charge more for it and make more profit. Also, the Chinese don’t seem to have the love of pets that we do. I recall some headlines recently of some of their officials clubbing pet dogs to death to try to manage rabies, even if the particular pet had been vaccinated.
So, blame the Chinese exporters, not our pet food makers, who had no idea they needed to test for something so bizarre in the ingredients.
*Steps down off soapbox.*
Hi Vanilla,
I do believe that most of us agree with you and are blaming the Chinese for the biggest part of the problem. But I also believe our companies still have to bear some of the blame for not reporting the minute they knew of the problem, and for using cheaper and cheaper ingredients to increase profits.
The distributor and food manufacturer should test all new shipments for foreign substances. Since they just started using that particular Chinese company July 2006, and know how lax China is with health issues, it was very wrong of them to just use it untested for our pet consumption.
Hi Elene,
I’ve just read some more recent articles about the situation and, of course, you are right. The US companies were importing from China to save money. I also didn’t know they didn’t report things right away. Thanks for the insight.
When my 4 fluffy pants are in a snit and won’t eat I have found deli turkey breast and chicken or turkey baby food usually does the trick. I have been feeding mine Purina ONE and Fancy Feast hard and wet. Kisses and Cuddles to Perry. And prayers for all the beloved kitties.
Catsgarden, love your name.
–Catsgarden–You got me laughing there w/the comment about deli turkey or chicken breast. All of my fuzzes love it. That’s about the only way I have any cooperation from them at times when I need it. I just shake the bag of deli meat & they all come running out of the woodwork meowing ‘me first’.
Yes, “Catsgaraden”, my brother is feeding his two cats Fancy Feast, and so far, all is okay. Also, http://www.castorpolluxpet.com
they make an organic cat food.
Slip sliding sleepin’ Sophie ๐
lol thats a funny way to sleep ๐ what a cutie
What a little cutie – worn out from too much playing on the sofa!
On the kitty side, Perry and Bob are stil both in my thoughts. And on the human side, Marsha is. I second what everyone said yesterday – your “friends” are really living up to the saying “with friends like these, who needs enemies” Hope things work out for the best for you.
Looks like she fell asleep after some mighty hard playing!
Hi I’am new, just wanted to say if you put kitties food on a plate on the table and say don’t touch she will have it gone. We had one that had lunch at the table with the kids and me. My that was 30 years ago. Each and every one give the kitties a hug for me.
Welcome Jan. Glad you joined in. I am picturing a kitty with a bib around her neck, sitting at the table having lunch. ๐ You may be on to something, say no and they want the forbidden.
Except for a few of my 17 fuzzies they won’t touch my homemade recipes and I have tried different things. I guess next I’ll have to use fish, although I’m running out of space in my freezer because I have so many containers of cat meals.
Welcome Jan!
What part of the country are you from, may I ask?
That is a cute story, about feeding your kitty at the table. So true about kids or cats, tell them not to do it and then they will do it! lol
She is such a pretty tux. Chilling out says it all.
Jan that was a good point about the food. For 3 days my tux has refused her new food (other was recalled, no choice but to change). I went in yesterday and picked up the uneaten food and placed it on the counter. Guess who jumped up and ate as if she hadn’t had a meal in 3 days. Funny how moving the food to a forbidden area stimulates the appetite.
Welcome onboard, Jan!
Welcome, Jan! Oh you’re sooooo right! Just put it on the table and say no! Ha-ha-ha! They’ll go for it every time!
Hey, little Sophie! Such a tired little cutie! I just love how relaxed she is! Must have had a hard day! Very sweet.
sleeeeeepy baby!
What a pose. ๐ I just love those tuxies, and of course all felines regardless of coloring.
Bumblebee and Paige, hope the hours at work fly. Hope all TDKers have a beautiful weekend. To the people that don’t work this weekend I hope the hours are long and sweet.
I am so sorry for all of you with sick kitties. I just want to see an end to all this corporate greed induced misery that has effected so many pets and their owners. It is really a nightmare come true. No one knows what to feed, and the money wasted on different foods and uneaten homemade has become obscene.
Two days ago a new cat came to drink (did not eat) on my patio. This one is either lost or a toss out and from the matting of it fur he/she has been out for some time. This one looks to be either a Persian or Himalayan pure bred. This morning at 6:30 I went out to feed breakfast to the ferals and as I went up to my porch there he was looking around the corner of my house. I stopped moving and started talking to him. He did not run and just looked. I got a fair good look at his face and it looks like his left eye is bloody and maybe missing. Horrible. I was afraid to move and scare him off but after a few minutes he turned and walked off. Have no idea where he is living nor do I think this one will be easy to trap. I think he must be in pain and maybe thats why he didn’t eat the other day, just drank lots and lots of water. I am so upset and at a loss as to what to do. You would think that after trapping and neutering nearly 30 cats in 2 1/2 years I would be a pro but this elusive cat has me stumped and more upset than any others because of the injury.
I’m sure the above is too long a paragraph but I needed to vent and weep. Just send prayers that I see him again and manage to help him.
The fates [and possibly a smidgen of divine intervention] have guided him to the one person in town best suited to help him. The same benign providence will enable a way to capture his heart as he has clearly ensnared yours. Relax and trust your instincts – the rest will come
Michael, thank you for the uplifting words. I just pray that kitty’s guardian angel gets him/her back here before it is to late for me to help. I will do my best to trust my instincts, but won’t be able to relax til that baby is in my arms.
Michael,
that was so sweet!!! I have a cat loving hubby but not quite so shall we say spiritual about it ๐
Good Morning Elene in PA,
So sorry to hear about the new kitty with problems, maybe he will come around soon and let you near him. I had a cat that looked like a longhair Himalayan come up to my house last year. It turned out to be a girl. She looked so thin and scraggy and acted like she was desperate for some attention. In about 1 to 2 weeks I got her to come up to the house and eat with my cats. She became the most affectionate little girl and was beginning to sit in my lap. She stuck around for 5 months, then just disappeared. I was gonna take her to the vet to be spayed, since she wanted to hang around. I just hope she belonged to somebody and they took her back in. Glad to hear your weather has turned out nice and your flowers are blooming. Mine are starting to bloom after the hard freeze we had lately. I lost several of my flowers that were already blooming to the freeze. All that is left to bloom are my irises and Rose of Sharon trees. Hope you have a nice weekend and hug your kitties for me.
Renee, glad you read my post from yesterday. I think you should put up the recipe when you get the chance.
I hope this poor baby does come around more so I can show him I’m not danger. He is so sweet looking and scared I just feel awful. At least I know he isn’t feral, and the breed specific rescue organizations will take a pure bred. With 17 already in my house, and babies due any day from a resent rescue, I just don’t have the space or money for even one more.
I am staying at the computer more today because my desk is located so I can look out on my patio. Since this morning I’ve barely taken my eyes off the area hoping he returns.
Let’s have faith his good instincts will prevail and the kitty will come back. It is so kind of you to try to help.
no food goes to waste here, I have tried making homemade food for the cats, if the cats dont eat it I have 3 german sheps and a black lab they eat anything……..lol
Elene, sending up some prayers for the Himi. I hope he comes back and you are able to help him. Bless you for being a one-woman rescue mission
I am so happy there are still people like you out there!
I wish that poor kitty returns and lets you catch him in order to provide him with the medical care he/she needs and you or someone else will eventually provide him a good home. Please, keep us informed.
Oh Elene, I sure hope you can catch that poor critter, I got teary reading about his/her dilema. Prayers for success.
I went to do my volunteer work this a.m at the shelter. A man brought a beautiful tiger kitty in because he could no longer afford to feed him. He had lost his job and home. I certainly gave this man credit for making sure kitty finds a safe loving home instead of just tossing him out on the streets to fend for himself as so many do. Nonetheless, my heart broke for the little guy, that he had to leave those who loved him (they did, they were very upset). So…I got all blubbery there and now here! ๐ I’m gonna have to get a grip sometime today!
Renee, it is so kind of you to volunteer at the shelter. I know, having worked at the St. Louis Humane Society eons ago, how emotionally upsetting most days there can be for you. The saddness in a shelter becomes overwhelming at times, and I suppose that’s why many of us are adament about some issues.
Take care, shake off the saddness, and have a weekend of doing something fun.
Here’s hoping this kitty comes back to you. You are it’s guardian angel.
God bless your efforts, Elene.
I truly believe kittens/cats have no back bone or they wouldn’t be able to twist like pretzels. My Taffy used to do this Domino was to chubby at 22lbs to twist anything!
Elene I hope you are able to catch the poor little guy with the bad eye if anyone can do it it will be you.
To the others with sick kitties my heart and prayers go out to you. If love counts your babies will surrive with all the wonderful care you give them.
Good Morning to you Jan so glad you decided to join us. Looking forward to your comments in the future.
Another adorable little fur baby! May God bless you and Sophie always. ๐
try leaving your garage door open and maybe getting him in there, at least once you get them in some type of enclosed area you can hopefully trap them, when i trap a feral i enclose them in a “feed room” in the barn or I have a 2 room enclosed backporch leave the door open put the food in there let them get used to going in there then watch from a place where they cant see you then sneak up and close the door. my cats are all doing fine not sure what caused the throwing up but they are all eating good, the “boys” were playing fetch this morning and the girls were tormenting them….lol. this little girl is so cute 2 days of black and white tux fuzz
Sophie looks so relaxed. What a sweetie!
To Rainingwolf in OR,
I just wanted to wish you a HAPPY ANNIVERSAY! I didn’t know if you would see it tomorrow, if I posted it, you might be out celebrating. Your anniversay is 4-22. My mom and dad was married on the same day. Hope you have a nice day!
Man! I Feel Like A Woman!
I’m going out tonight-I’m feelin’ alright
Gonna let it all hang out
Wanna make some noise-really raise my voice
Yeah I wanna scream and shout
That can’t be comfortable!
LOL….
What a beautiful baby…
Sophie looks like an excellent kitteh.
hello all! I just wondered why no one here wants to accept me into the “kitty clique” I love cats of all colors and sizes and would NEVER harm a lil one EVER. I just was looking for fellow kitten cat lovers and hoping to find some positive pen pals. I dunno maybe I’m a lil bit insecure, typical of a cat lover who feels left outside. sniffle sniffle
Headbutt…………………….:)
Oh ,Anna join the group ! I never care if someone wants me here or not,But I know we are all cat lovers. How many cat’s do you have?
Bettina, did you get my post about Bialies, the onion rolls sold at bagel counters in Brooklyn. My father loved them too.
and welcome, *purrs* to Jan and Anna. There’s no clique, just post, and have fun.
Welcome, Anna!
You don’t have any reason to feel like an outsider. Not every comment requires an answer and not everybody wants to chat. There are many people here who just want to express their admiration on kittens. But if you REALLY want to ‘get connected’ introduce yourself first.
Keep on commenting, share your opinions and get involved in conversations. See you!
You are a part of it just by reading and sometimes commenting!
๐
Welcome, Anna ๐ (and to anyone else who’d delurked recently and I missed ๐ )
Take a deep breath, and jump right in ๐
I’m new to posting here (been lurking for ages!) and I’ve found people to be positive.
Welcome Anna. Big Purrs.
Hi Anna glad you have joined us. If you have posted before I didn’t see it or I would of gave you a big HOWDY.

Hey there Anna! Welcome!!! No clicks here, just post. We’re all very happy to see what you say. Not everyone will comment every time you post, but everyone will read what you have to say, so, I’m really happy you joined in! ๐
Sweets, don’t fret! We just have open converstions. There is no clicque, just familurlarity (sp). just dive in! ๐
Hi, again we are in Kansas on 6 acres and have cats, yours, mine, and ours. Last year a mom had her kittens in the shed, we put food and water in with her. She stayed wild but the kittens tamed down fast. I think just food, water and a little company, He may come to you. We haven’t had any one get sick as yet. Don’t laugh but at Christmas I fix chicken livers for them. thay ate that and looked for more. May be that might work? The old saying goes girls and cats will do as thay pleas, men and dogs had best get used to it.
Where in Kansas are you located? My mom’s family was from Franklin, Mullberry and Osage City. Still have a few odd cousins in Pittsburg, KS.
ATTENTION T.D.K.R’S:IF YOU WANT PET THAT IS GUARANTEED SAFE GO TO DRS. FOSTER AND SMITH WEBSITE THAT HAVE A GUARANTEE THAT THEIR FOOD IS CORN AND WHEAT GLUTEN FREE AND USA-FDA ONLY GROWN FOODS,AGAIN LOVE THE LITTLE TUX GIRL.
Thanks, Elaine! I’ll check it out.
i meant pet food
Hehe, Sophie looks like she just finished polishing the chair with herself.
Elene, if the hurt cat is drinking water but not eating, he may have a fever. They want to hide if they’re sick, so maybe if you put out a nice box with some blankets in a dark, safe-feeling place he might come to it. Good luck with him. I know how awful it feels when you want to help and they don’t trust you.
I was thinking the same thing about the water drinking. I do have places that are set up for shelter but the ferals use them. This poor thing is not feral and I’m sure if he shows up at the wrong time he will be chased off.
I just wish I had my pre accident ability. Then I could go hunting for him in the hilly area in back where he may be hiding out. Just can’t stand the thought of the suffering he is experiencing all alone and afraid.
Anna In INDLPS, WELCOME ABOARD. This is the
first posting that I have seen by you. I hardly
ever post; however, I check out the kitten every
day as I have three cats, two Siamese and one
Persian – the lights of my life. I am sure that
others will also welcome you to this site. There
are not many posts on the weekend. Just keep
posting and you will feel welcomed.
Hi, Hadley! Just jump in. Why would you lurk when there are people willing to share your joys and sorrows? If your kitties are on Catster (or another site), let us admire them too.
Hi Hadley (great name!) Your kitties sound really pretty. Glad you posted today!
HI ALL ๐ this pic is cute, you should see all the ways my fuzzbutts sleep……….they have recently taken to breaking into my hubbys home office and I swear faxing and phoning friends LOL
ROTF!!
your cat is so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cute
Talk about “wiped out”!!! What a cute ‘lil baby!
Upside down kitty! That pose means Sophie feels safe at home — a great compliment to her people.
Elene in PA — please work hard to catch that injured kitty and get him to a vet. Last year there was a belligerant tomcat here who kept getting the young female ferals pregnant and fighting with other cats — I was so annoyed with him that when he showed up hurt I just ignored him. He gradually lost weight, looked worse and worse, and eventually stopped eating. There was something wrong with his face,
but I couldn’t see what. Finally I caught a glimpse and was horrified — a whole chunk of his face was gone, and the wound was badly abcessed. I caught him soon after, using the technique I described in yesterday’s thread, and took him to a vet thinking he would have to be put to sleep. But with a subsidy from a cat rescue org., and a little surgery and a lot of antibiotics, plus six weeks in a cage in my bathroom, he made a full recovery. Neutered now, he’s been released to live with his colony. He gained a lot of weight, and is much more trusting, although he’ll never be tame enough to adopt.
His feral family is glad to have him around, and now so are we.
You can help the kitty who came to you — believe it, and act on it!
Angela M, thank goodness you were able to catch tomcat and heal his and your own wounds.
My feral colony is “fixed” except for Brutus because I’ve trapped him and he escaped before the door slammed shut completely. I think he would starve before entering another trap. Brutus is the guy who has saved some of the baby ferals when mom cats died. He shows them the ropes, brings them to my patio for food and shows them the shelter I made for them in my crawl space under the house. Then I pounce and become mom ๐
I hoped there wouldn’t be new babies to rescue since I’ve had all females spayed. This last rescued feral is now purring and letting me pet her including turning on to her back for a belly rub. Had an appointment for spaying but bad weather kept me home. She is now ready to have a litter any minute, and that means I’m in trouble again.
The behavior of Brutus is so typical of ferals. I am in awe of their advanced social skills and loyalty to each other. They not only babysit for each other, they save food for each other and when there’s an especially tasty treat they’ll go off and bring “home” whoever was lagging. I’ve had them lead me to injured or treed members of the colony, and their behavior when one of them dies is amazing. They all gathered around for the “wake” and burial. When a momcat was hit last year, they went out and brought back her three 8-week-old kittens (who all have good homes now).
Humans could learn from these kitties!
Wow!!!!! That is truly wonderful and amazing. My colony is not as cohesive and they have lost so many recently. They don’t allow newcomers so when the last one is gone there won’t be a colony. The last 3 I’ve caught I had to keep in, they just were not accepted by the gang.
I sure can relate to that Elene. I wasn’t able to get my new feral kitty trapped before she had them. Now I haven’t seen her in almost two days. I know she’s just busy w/her newbies, but I’m still concerned because she’s such a kitten herself yet(she’s not quite ten mos.old herself. I was out until 2:00a.m. this morning hoping to spot her. She’ll get hungry enuf soon tho. Good luck w/your new snuggle-butts.
I understand you concern very well. I am so glad I got this newest girl before she had the litter. Didn’t know or even think that she was a female because “orangies” are most often male. When I was finally able to pet her and rub her tummy I realized how pregnant she is.
Last year I had a feral female have a litter. She came for food 4 and 5 times a day. She knew I was giving her special food so she would come and wait on my patio until I came out. One day she didn’t come and I had a bad feeling something happened. When the second and third day passed I knew for sure. She was Roma, my favorite of the ferals. Couldn’t find the babies and after a time assumed they were dead. Low and behold, Brutus came to the rescue and brought first the 2 little girls, and a few weeks later 2 boys.
Elene, You are such a warm heart and a god send! ๐
A nice pose, Sophie!
Kittens are so adorable: tiny tornadoes here, a second later sound asleep.
I bet Sophie too was hit by an infamous sleep attack. I would love to see that one on video. She looks amazingly comfortable and very very cute. ๐
It don’t come much cuter than Sophie’s awesome sleeping position. It be a challenge of choice to let her sleep so angelicly or pick her up and squeeze her…but not too hard. Wouldn’t want to harm the sweet furball.
funny!
Hi psychomama in calif. I was wondering what part of california your from?
Good Morning, everyone!
I have a question for you. I have two ten month old kittens (sisters) who sleep with me at night. One sleeps clear through the night. The other wants attention starting about 4:00a.m. She bonks me with her head and nudges my hands. Very hard to ignore! If I don’t pet her she runs for a toy and brings it back to me, then plays with it on the bed. Again, hard to ignore. ๐ I don’t want to shut them out of the bedroom. Any ideas?
Sophie is a beautiful kitten. My blood pressure goes down just looking at her!
Grin and bear it ๐ Sounds like a cute playful kitty. My only suggestion is to keep your sweet “4:00 alarm clock” awake more in the evening. Does she seem to sleep more daytime and evening than the girl that sleeps all night. Could it be that the girl you think sleeps all night actually gets up and plays in the other room while you and “4:00 alarm clock” are sleeping. Consolation: once she is a bit older she will slow down a bit.
My playful kitty, Digit, is by far the more active of the two. I’ll trying wearing her out in the evening with more play time. I suspect that I am most of the problem–she makes me smile when she bonks me so I have to work hard not to encourage her to think I’m OK with playing at 4am. I work during the day, but my husband who is retired reports that both cats spend a lot of time sleeping during the day. When Mom comes home, it’s play time! (I love the welcome I get from them. :-))
Wow…you’re lucky….my Pedro a.k.a Bad-butt is a 3 a.m. let’s-play guy. He licks my hair to wake me up!! If this doesn’t get my immediate attention, he chews on my fingers! I have found that depositing Pedro on to the floor when the shenanigans begin is effective….after the 3rd or 4th deposit!! ๐
I found that if I ignored Smokey enough she eventually gave up. That and trying to cuddle her (well, what else are you supposed to do when you feel something warm and fluffy next to you and are far more asleep than awake!) – she’s not much of a cuddly kitty, but will snuggle up hard against me for fuss.
Great advice. I’ll try that too.
I just created a page for Digit on Catster. Please visit!
Lovely cat ๐ The pic of his paws is great!
My thoughts exactly. There is something in the mittens (and paws in general), they just melt me.
Cute Digit with wonderful big feet. Left her a treat for her bedtime snack.
Elene, thank you for helping needy kits. And thank you for offering help to all those who ask advice. I’ll pray for you tonight.
Miu, thank you. You are so very gentle hearted in all your postings.
She’s lovely!
Digit is a sweetie! Love his big paws!
What a sweetheart! Love the paws. Glad you became a cat person.
Welcome, Anna, I do not post often but I love to look at kittens, and read post other people have written.
I live in Warrior, Al. I have one black cat name Lucky he is 17 yrs. old eats special diet of Science Hill for Sensetive Skin, he has very dry skin, and itch and scratches a lot food helps. But he gets a cortizon shot from vet about every 3 months. Hope if you have a cat or kittens or both that they are doing ok. Hope this food scare has not harmed any of your fur babies. I am 50 yrs. old love cat and dogs and a lot of other animals. Me and my husband and cat wish you well. Hope you visit this site often.
Have a good day and year of good days. Even if you don’t post a comment be sure to check out kitten picture of the day they are all so cute. lol
Nice to meet you, Kathy!

Cool, Angela! I’ve seen this site on a post a week or so. It wasn’t as complete as it is now. I like the look of the ribbons. โ It’s a great idea to bring people’s attention to the issue of animal rights. Thanks for the post. (maybe you can re-post it again on Monday since there are more people during the week?)
Thank you Angela for the info.
Well we are in Fort Scott, I think I went to Pittsburg once. With the gas prices so high we don’t go far. When I want someone to talk to I have the porch sitters, the goats, or the llamas, Arther will come up to me. What is fun to see is the babies play together, or one of the girl llamas smell [ ther so big] one kittens.
Sounds like you have a full farm there. I love llamas. There’s something about their eyes that’s very endearing.
Sounds like a wonderful place to live. I too love the sweet natured llamas. I pass a little farmette about 2 blocks from home that have 6 llamas. I would love to stop and see them up close but there is no place to safely pull over.
So adorable!
Put a big smile on my face!!! What an adorable kitten.
This is too funny, good for you Sophie, not everyone can sleep on their head. Looks like my Samantha 10 years ago.
Sophie look so cute and adorable sleeping in that position. Its amazing how they sleep like that and in other positions. I have two cats of my owne and they are two adourable little ones. Well i just love sophie please keep her in good health and condition, i’m saving sophie picture to my computer so i could print her out later. Love you sophie
Sophie must have been playing really hard to just go and plop down like that. Funny and cute.
TO RENEE IN AK: Thanks so much for the great anniversary wishes! Victor and I have now been married one whole year! Never been happier! (And I knew he was “the one” because my kitty, Redford, accepted him immediately–not so with the others I had dated–cats have such great instincts!)I never expected to marry again after a 21 yr disaster–but love IS better the 2nd time around, and we are a happy family now, complete with our 2 feline kids! Thanks again for your good wishes, Renee!
Happy Anniversary, Rainingwolf, from a fellow Oregonian. (Mom to Digit and Furl.) Hope the sun peeks through tomorrow on your actual anniversary!
“Happy Anniversary Rainingwolf” I myself know how great love can be the second time around. David and I are married just a year in March and he’s a cat lover too…..and you are so right, our babies can tell when men don’t like them… ๐
Love is in the air. Happy first anniversary to Kathy and Rainingwolf.
Happy Anniversary Rainingwolf. Redford is a very smart cat. He knows a good thing when he sees it. Redford a big orangie after all. Mittens sends Big Purrs. The second time ’round is working great for us too.
Hello to every one on the TDK, I like everybody, especially cats. hehe.
I agree with Instint, stoping shipping food in from 3rd world countries. Make food here in the good USA.
I agree as well.
I third that opinion!
Opps sorry I did not spell name right.
Oh my! She’s soooooo adorable. I laughed when I saw the picture! ๐
obviously a crash landing
Now I lay me down to sleep fuzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
sophie is absolutely gorgeous! She’ll be a stunner when she’s all grown up. Kittens crack me up, when they crash out, they crash OUT. She makes me think of that image I’ve seen passed around of that little grey tabby kitten passed out face down in the kibble bowl.
Oh little Sophie…I so want to pick you up and give you luvins!
HELLO, Everyone,

But if anyone wants to listen I’ll share. Thanks everyone..
