I am so sorry for your loss. I know guilt would do me in so I have never allowed my “kids” outside. They’re all doing just fine. You did your best to save him so he had a few good years. That’s better than none if you hadn’t rescued him.
By the time we humans figure out a cat isn’t feeling well, the cat really needs a visit to the vet now if not yesterday. Poor Benny could be a diabetic or have thyroid issues, both difficult to treat in pussy cats. I’ll keep you in my thoughts and hope you find answer soon. It hurts to see the one you love hurt.
Oh, hi! Couldn’t resist the pun so . . . sorry. Thank you so much for your patience and providing a loving environment for these two young ladies. I got a pair of rescues 7 years ago. The younger and smaller of the two STILL does not willingly accept human touch. I guess I’m saying . . . you may need more patience in getting the bonding completed.
Thank you for saving this little guy. I hope you have many happy years together. I also hope for his sake that you live in an area of Houston that was not hard hit from Harvey. Really sorry for your loss. Midnight is very cute and my thanks for saving him and giving him a good home in spite of your sadness. I recently had my favorite cat euthanized (he was 15+). What a darling, wee Scotsman. Thank you for giving Simba a forever home. I hope his siblings fared as well. It would take a very wee kilt to dress him up!! Only kidding. I’d prefer it if people did not put clothes on their pets. After all, what would be better than a fur coat?
