Really sorry for your loss. Midnight is very cute and my thanks for saving him and giving him a good home in spite of your sadness. I recently had my favorite cat euthanized (he was 15+). I have also said I’d have no more kittens (due to MY age). However, if my recently passed granddaughter should send me a kitten, I’d give him a home too like…[Read more]
What a darling, wee Scotsman. Thank you for giving Simba a forever home. I hope his siblings fared as well. It would take a very wee kilt to dress him up!! Only kidding. I’d prefer it if people did not put clothes on their pets. After all, what would be better than a fur coat?
Enjoyed reading about a cat you clearly loved. I’m sorry for his passing but you had a lot of good years with him and that’s where your focus should be now. I could list all the cats I miss but . . . “heaven is where you meet all the cats you’ve ever loved.”
Long live beautiful black babies!!! Fritz was what we called a Siamese cat we had but her real name was Snicklefritz and Fritz or Schizo Fritzo was her nickname. Sadly, we only had her for 17 years. Enjoy your Fritz as he apparently has aged well in a home and is well-loved.
I love black pussy cats. I can somewhat identify with the “fraidy cat” scenario. We adopted two rescue cats seven years ago and still cannot pick up the smaller of the two. I keep hoping he’ll come around and he is better but still does not like to be touched by anyone! He’s a brat but he’s cute so he stays!
Sorry to hear of your painful loss. Having lost many wonder cats through the years, I know how it feels when you need to make the decision to euthanize an animal to save it from further suffering. Just know he was loved and cared for by you, his human caregiver. RIP Austen
Definition of beautiful? A handsome black cat. He can be my familiar any day! Thanks for giving him a home. Reminds me of my last black cat, a female named Orfeyo. She was a parking lot stray someone was trying to kick out of a store. My husband picked her up and took her to the vet. First I know of this was when my vet called and wanted to…[Read more]
