Hello, I have two 4 week old kittens, and I am having a problem with one of the kittens BM’s. One kitten is having completely normal, regular solid poops. While the other is having a paste-like yellow stool. Not quite diarrhea. They have been eating a Goat milk/canned pumpkin/pedialyte combo.
I have tried yogurt which she would not eat. Is this typical for her being on the goat’s milk? Any suggestions for something else to try?

Each kitten is different and it’s a given all kittens will have parasites that they will needed to be treated for normally around the 4 week mark .. It’s normal for kittens to have a toothpaste texture BM when they are under 10 weeks old and as long as the BM isn’t a watery consistency , contains mucus or Blood or has a very bad odor it’s normally ok.. A mild wormer starting at 4 weeks is recommended incase of a high worm burden you don’t want a wormer to kill them all at the same time as this could cause a bowel obstruction so mild wormer recommended by your vet ( not store bought) is safest.. If she’s drinking a lot of goats milk then her poop may be a little runnier than the others but goats milk and pumpkin is great for controlling diarrhea .. Be aware that when you worm the kittens they will probably develop diarrhea for a few days an this is normal..
