Wow, lucky pets to have their own personal chef! Bet they’re super healthy animals too! Raw is the best, for kitties anyway, as long as you know how to balance all the nutrients they should get with it.

If I go to get some milk, Luna will eat the dry Cheerios right out of my bowl. I tried to tell her she’s a carnivore, but at least she’s eating healthy.

My Bombalurina loved popcorn. If she knew that we had it she would just go nuts and pester us until we gave her a piece. I always made certain to give her just the puffy white part with no kernel on it. She was such a silly, precious little girl.

Little Dot love’s whipped cream…I give her tartar control treats to go with to keep her tooties (teeth) clean! Cats from my past would eat smashed green grapes, smashed cantaloupe melon, smashed asparagus w/juice…Crockey on the other hand(paw) just eats cat food!

Feeny is not really a fan of anything but cat food.

    Taco on the other hand…

Taco likes ALL this. We have to always hide all our food and never leave anything out!

Wow, so interesting to know what other kitties would eat. I’ve had a cat who loved anything dairy (whipped cream and cheese etc.) but I have never had one who likes vegetable!

I found out as long as it is not green, or stem/leaf part of tomato it is harmless for cats. (green part of tomato contains alkaloid which is poisonous)

It didn’t seem to upset her stomach overnight, so I let Sofie nibble a little bit of that tomato this morning. Boy, she just LOVES it, and it is so cute to watch her munch.

My Ruggles will eat the corners of old books (10+ years, bless the little gourmet!) and anything else. He is a trash eater. If it is on the floor, it’s on the menu.

It’s probably not that unusual but both my kitties love butter!!! Plus they both like the little pieces of “everything” bagel w/cream cheese that hubby gives them in the mornings.

I actually believe tomatoes are really bad for kitties. I’ll look it up.

Chucky likes marshmallows. I bought the boys marshmallow shooters for christmas and we had to hide the ammo from him! Tess likes tap water and has earned the name bathroom gargoyle, Nobody is allowed to go in the bathroom with out turning the water on for her! Tonka likes the little bones in the dogs kibble she picks them out!

Persephone likes to eat ribbons and easter grass u_u Have to be careful to keep that away from her. Other than that, all of our cats just like classic kitty things, cat food, tuna and other meats, and all things dairy. I heard someone say once that their cat must have a sweet tooth because they liked icecream.. It’s the milk, not the sugar!

A weird thing our cat’s DON’T like is shrimp. I am a kitty slave and am constantly letting my kitties sample off my plate, but I discovered the other day that they wouldn’t eat shrimp. We don’t have it that often so I don’t think they’d ever had it before, maybe that’s why.

My mizzer, Killer, (RIP ~ he passed over the bridge at 20 years old) was raised as a kitten before I adopted him on ‘all foods’ and his special favorites were fresh pineapple chunks and fresh canteloupe melon chunks…… along with all things carnivore ….

Mac and Grommie would not even consider eating fruit!!

Greatdane, thank you for the link!

Yeah, I also looked it up in about.com, and the site also lists tomato as toxic for cats, but it notes that ripe tomatoes are ok. (though the link you gave me says a cherry tomato is enough to cause severe stomach upset)….She has eaten maybe 1/3 of ripe roma tomato, and it’s been over 12 hours and she seems just normal, eating her cat food, no diarrhea. I sure hope she will not have reaction. Nevertheless, I won’t be adding tomato in her regular food list to be on the safe side.

Oh my, vicks vapor rub and neosporin…maybe because of the grease I wonder??

Ginirosaru, that is a fantastic video of Taco – I really enjoyed it, what a great kitty! I love the way he demands the broccoli but just checks out the shrimp for a split second to see if he’ll accept it. And, of course, he does! IBK, Zeus is Beeoootiful, and what great names you’ve given your cats!
