….. and thank you everyone for the nice birthday wishes! …. my day was great ….. lots of spoiling/pampering from Dau and Mr. AV ….. nice calls & texts from other family, and dinner at my favorite Japanese restaurant …..

…… my new ‘Bob’ vacuumn works like a charm, and he even came with a mop attachment ….. I ran him in the family room, kitchen & foyer yesterday, and plan on mopping the entire downstairs today …… it’s actually fun! (maybe it should have been named Hazel) ….

That cake is cool! Oh, AV….can’t believe I forgot to give these to you yesterday…***passing boiled peanuts through the wormhole****. Hopefully the wormhole has magic warming properties so they are just as warm as when I picked them up from the roadside stand.

You did have an interesting evening, Joan. Always enjoy hearing about Leela, Comet and Mac’s latest adventures!

Even if you are not ready to retire yet and yes I know a lot of you aren’t but never too early to at least think about things.

While driving yesterday and listening to whatever channel would come in on the radio, there was an interesting show on handling money and Social Security choices when it comes to that time.

There also was a mention of Dynasty Trust and how putting monies and estates into this type of trust would protect it from lawsuits, tax penalties, divorce, death, and a multitude of other situations for 99 years….sounded interesting at least, I had never heard of a Dynasty Trust. I know about basic Trust(s) and kinda sorta familiar with them, guess all the different facets of this one or how it sounded was different from what I have heard.

…. AWWWWWWW, EC – you remembered!!!! I love the boiled peanuts!!!!

…. today, we’re going to BIL’s house for another b’day lunch …. we tend to have ‘birthday weekends’, cause we have a lot of family here in town ….

…. hoping everything works out well for Monday, my clients that didn’t close on Friday, should close Monday afternoon …. I’ll certainly be glad when they do!

That’s the cake that MS posted that disappeared. It’s adorable!
Today is Lucy-Wucy day, may her days be filled with sunshine. I can’t shake the strong feeling that she is in Pensicola though…
Mac has not shown up yet today. Usually he is around for a breakfast handout. Getting him to like being indoors may be tougher than I thought. My next move is to get some extra vaccinations for Leela and Comet, and hopefully Mac too.

Hi Joan (and anyone lurking) LOL,
Day ran away with me, or vice-versa. Spin class (as per usual daily except Caturday) than errands. And while street-walking (not that kind!) found me another find! All told, $20 (for cab ride home as way heavy). Plus on advice from my friend (yes the lady who also does my big cleaning) I’m making throw cushions from fabric placemat. She noted that it’s 2 pcs stitched together and told me that if I unpick a just a few stitches I can stuff it with fibrefill re-close with simple hand-stitching (I don’t have sewing machine or skills to use one) and instant cushion! Fibrefill being not so easy to find, and not all that cheap for big bag, I bought a few reg pillows for like $4 ea. at Walmart and will cut them open for their filling. Seems that I’ve become quite the DIY-er. If they turn out good might post. But here’s the chest as re-homed today.
