Eko sounds a lot like Comet, a silky smooth lover boy but kind of messy! Fortunately, Comet loves the covered litterbox.
Leela’s litterbox which is upstairs (where she lives) is not covered – she does not like covers. She is a creature of habit – 2 pees and a poop per day, in the same spots! AV, glad you had a productive shopping day. I didn’t get out, but did re-caulk half the shower stall. It is okay to use tomorrow, since I didn’t cut away the old caulk on the other half. My hands get sore easily; I use the caulk that dries fairly fast and it’s out of a tube.
It is sooo cool that Buttons and Bob are communicating through Noodle. And glad Ms. Moneypenny is settling in!
KZ, so sorry Willow hasn’t figured out that the stove=hot. I try to fill the water pot when Comet isn’t looking so maybe he has forgotten that there is a beloved water source there. Might be helping that the teapot is not the clear one I’ve used in the past.
Hi Judith – great to see you!
Have made a few adjustments around here since Mac has been coming inside, primarily at night. Fed Leela and Comet before letting Mac inside. Comet likes to pick at his food and save some for later, but Mac will eat his as well as Comet’s, even though it’s in a different spot. So after his initial picking, I’m bringing Comet’s food upstairs, and ease into serving dinner up there. He won’t eat it where I tried to put it, so I put it by Leela’s dinner. I would prefer cats eating together anyway. Leela doesn’t like it, but at least they don’t eat each other’s food, and Mac seems happy to stay downstairs on his afghan and with his toy birdie. He also just used the big litterbox, and the poop was inside! Barely, but it’s a start! KZ, I know the box you describe, and I think it’s worth a try. We had one years ago, when Shaddo and Jiggs were young, but once they became elderly, we got rid of the top.
Hi KJ – stay warm!
